Hits to ESPN

YAY. just got done reading it after JSL posted.
And although not all courses are set up like Leicester's Maple Hill course, the concept is the same. Frisbees are a hobby; disc golf is a sport.

Actually, everyone. Do NOT click on the link. Search for it!!!!!!!!!!! That will help the searches and to show espn that we want these articles, and that we are looking for them.

Decent article, and didn't come off with the attitude of looking down on the sport like a lot of other articles about the sport do. Nice to see positive publicity like that, especially from such a major source (as opposed to local papers etc.).

Great article! For anyone who's got Facebook/MySpace/etc., please provide a link to this article for all your non-DGCR friends!

Steve Dodge got that article lined up. It wasn't dgcr members searching that prompted them to publish it.

Go to ESPN.com, and in the upper right and corner, click where it says myESPN. Create an account (if you don't have one), or sign in if you do. On your profile page there is a row of items, including one that says "Edit Profile." From there, you can add your favorite teams, sports, etc. The link you want is "Fan Information." Hope that helps!

wayne! You're the one on ESPN that told me they may start covering DiscGolf! you can definatly put Disc Golf as one of your favorite sports.

great article. really focused on the grassroots level of the sport and the want to get growing. didn't over sensentionalize (like ESPN loves to do) but didn't downplay either. right on.

we should all chat it up there....let espn see an active message board...

There are 18 comments on the article so far. If it gets 30 it will make the "hot conversation" list on the right.
