Not sure if it's been posted yet, but I searched for "disc golf" and found the aforementioned article about the Vibram Open and disc golf in general. Looks like they finally posted it!

YAY. just got done reading it after JSL posted.

And although not all courses are set up like Leicester's Maple Hill course, the concept is the same. Frisbees are a hobby; disc golf is a sport.

Decent article, and didn't come off with the attitude of looking down on the sport like a lot of other articles about the sport do. Nice to see positive publicity like that, especially from such a major source (as opposed to local papers etc.).

I updated my ESPN profile, one of the choices for 'Favorite Sport' is Disc Golf. Headway?

Go to ESPN.com, and in the upper right and corner, click where it says myESPN. Create an account (if you don't have one), or sign in if you do. On your profile page there is a row of items, including one that says "Edit Profile." From there, you can add your favorite teams, sports, etc. The link you want is "Fan Information." Hope that helps!

great article. really focused on the grassroots level of the sport and the want to get growing. didn't over sensentionalize (like ESPN loves to do) but didn't downplay either. right on.
