how stiff is your...

I prefer 8s or 9s. Stiffer DX Aviars are just fine for me. Stiffer S Warlocks are usually great.

I was using soft and og wizards for a while, but recently starting using a zero pure that feels like it was made from the same plastic... tacky firm enough for a true flight and clean release, but soft enough to drop when it hits chains.

Right now I use a soft challenger, I just can never seem to get the right grip on a firmer one, but maybe that will change.

soft, but not blowfly soft. somewhere between soft and SSS. as long as it has a bit of grippy feel to it and isn't completely rigid.

I love my black OG SSS Wizard. The rim is very stiff, and the flightplate is firm (around a 7 I'd say) but also flexible. In the year or so I've been putting with it, it's starting to soften a bit. :(

I also have found that I prefer Mediums to a super flexible SSS. Mine actually grab the chains better than almost all of my SSSs and are generally grippier too.

I think you might be the only person that likes the medium plastic.

How has this thread only had one crude reply???

I'm not the only one!
I want Viagra plastic in my putters...stiff, no floppiness. I use base plastics like DX or Pro-D so usually the grip is there. Sometimes the base plastic can get slick, so you have to watch it a bit but generally something like a medium sure-grip Wizard or a KC Pro Aviar is just what I'm looking for.

I tried a medium on a whim (different plastic Wizard buying spree), and I was as surprised to like it as you are to hear me say it. It's only getting better the more I use it too. If it beats in just as nice, in about five years it'll be so buttery that it'll probably become my main putter, and I'll be wishing that I'd broken in the other one I bought too.

oxymoron haha

most pro/r-pro/elite-x putters are soft and floppy

R-Pro Rhynos are stiffer than Pro, R-Pro Pigs are floppier than Pro, at least all the ones I've held. If they would switch the plastics for these 2 discs, I could save a LOT of money buying OOP plastic.

This is true for me as well, except it's D Challengers. The newer runs are nice and stiff and gain some velvety grippyness after a few rounds in the practice cycle.
