[Question] ID a disc or ask "What is the story on this disc...?" - Take II

Anybody know what era this aviar is from? There's a black circular stamp on the bottom that says "BIG BEAD AVIAR" in it.

^ I'm not sure but I'm also interested in knowing when/where that stamp was used.
I have a Roc with a similar stamp... only other time I've seen Innovas label like this.

I have a 1995 Piedmont Random Doubles with the stamp

Not sure when they started the stamp but by 1998 it was gone. I have some 1998, 1999 and 2001 Piedmont Random Doubles discs and the stamp is gone.

The ink stamp was always hit and miss. Sometimes you would get a custom stamped disc and the ink stamp would be there on the underside, sometimes not. I never noticed how similar a Gazelle and a Pegasus looked until we got a custom disc order with no ink stamps. :| I really don't know when they started the ink stamps. I mostly saw them in the mid to late 90's. That black Roc is an Ontario, which was in production from '94-'97. That pretty much mirrors the time that I remember seeing the ink stamps on the underside, although I saw ink stamps later than '97.

They stopped using the ink stamps when they started writing the mold abbreviation; the first disc I saw with a mold abbreviation was when the Eagle came out in '99.

I have a Roc from the '98 Greater Peoria Open and it has that ink stamp on the underside, so they definitely still had some in '98.

But, its hard to tell to me if this is actually CE. It has the faint circular record player grooving on the underside, but is not anywhere as sticky or gummy as other CE I have. I do have a CE QMS (2 tone stamp, "appoved") that feels pretty much like regular Champ, so maybe it is just a super late run.
I'm wondering if there is something in the tooling that would help identify (tooling on what I received is identical to what was listed).

I have felt CE discs that felt very similar to regular production champ. They weren't all soft and tacky. The actual CE plastic blend changed from run to run. I'm sure the eBay seller isn't making things up, but he should have said something in the item description about the item being sold not being the one pictured.

Hi, I have two discs I was wanting a little bit of information on and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them.

The first one is a glow TL, I was wondering if anyone knew what the Stamp actually said on it. I have searched and searched to try and find what the Stamp actually says. Does anyone know what the Stamp says?

The second is the banshee, on it I see there is a copyright/trademark Stamp of a person throwing a Disc. I was wondering if anyone had any more information on why that is on there, is that from the factory, something a dealer put on there or what. I just have never seen it before.

I Included a picture of the entire Disc as well as a close up one of the copyright Stamp.

Also sorry if the pictures are sideways, I put this in on the phone and didn't see how to flip them.

Thanks in advance.

Word. We actually reached a very amicable meeting of the minds on this, and I do believe it is indeed CE. He actually sent me a free PD to make up for the confusion, which is insanely generous for any deal I've ever had on ebay.

That's the Disc Player Sports logo. They stamp it in that spot after market on KC Pro discs.

I returned a found disc to a guy today. As a show of appreciation he handed me a disc as a thank you. It's a discraft labled MVR. Anybody know the story on these?

MRV is a small diameter mid, kinda like a Spider. It was really good at a lot of shots, not great at anything. It died when the Buzzz came out.

Thanks, Three Putt. I took it out to the field today and it was a solid neutral mid with just a touch of fade. Good disc but have my neutral mids covered so it may end up in the marketplace soon.

Large diameter innova throw and catch disc with Ontario ca and made in USA on bottom never seen one in 14 years of disc golf any and all info would be appreciated

I also have a 95 piedmont random doubles with the bottom rubber stamp its a glow cobra wall hanger for life

Anyone have any info on this disc? I'd put a pic up but it just has the first run stamp and it's an x-out.
It's an innova disc with the initials DKA. Never heard of that and a search popped up nothing. I was thinking maybe a katana. Definitely high speed and rim width looks same as a katana. The inside rim feels small like a tern (never thrown a katana).

By "throw and catch" do you mean it's a lid? By "large diameter" do you mean big as a Frisbee or big as a Roc?

Yes its bout the size of a dinner plate, plastic has lots of sparkles in it but feels like cheap Frisbee plastic not old dx here are a couple more pics hope it helps
