[Question] ID a disc or ask "What is the story on this disc...?" - Take II

Oh yeah. I lost my super seasoned KCs so this and a few other beat rocs I bought filled that spot perfectly

So I did a little research and I have a question.

I found the first listing of the Round Rock National Doubles in April of 1991 as an AM event. What is the diameter of the disc? 21.2 or 21.7cm. The Roc was changed in late 1988 to the larger diameter used today. So if it is the 21.7 it's after late 88 and not likely later the 1995. Now keep in mind I did find this information on the internet but I found 2 sources and one had a CFR Roc for a tournament in Norman Pro/Am in 1988. If it is the smaller diameter it's the first version of the Roc and that would be pretty interesting.

And as stated before I can't be a KC, it's not a Rancho.

Also, before anyone says the current Roc came out in 89, it's a rounding thing with marketing.

Lastly, the Classic Roc is 21.2 but the top of this disc in not a Classic Roc.

Can anyone tell me what year this roc is from and what mold it is?

I know it's a cfr from National Doubles Championship in Texas and it's KC. It has San Marino CA on the bottom.

You can tell from the tooling that it is the 21.7 cm San Marino Roc, which fits in with a '91 date. The Ontario Roc came out late in '94, so a '91 tournament Roc would be that 21.7 cm San Marino Roc.

Any insight?

How can I tell what year a SextonFB is?

Hi guys! Can you please help me identify these two discs by stamp?

It's for a giveaway quiz (in the EU) so I can't give you any more hints...

welcome to the forum. are you really asking for help cheating on a giveaway?

Thank you guys for your help and the warm welcome.
About the cheating accusation: I hope you are joking.

But if not, let me point out that the giveaway had no explicit rules in place.
That means, I could not have REALLY cheated by asking someone for help.
That being said, which of these do YOU consider cheating? And which are OK? Why?

1. Looking inside my bag
2. Looking inside my friend's bag
3. Searching at a disk store
4. Searching at a disk store online
5. Asking a friend
6. Asking a friend online
7. Asking a bunch of strangers online

I hope you see the absurdity of your accusation after thinking this through.
Hopefully I am just being trolled and failed to pick up on your sarcasm

Yes, I read the post about cheating as good natured teasing. If I am wrong, then that person should be ignored. Good luck with the contest. Sorry I don't have any help I can give you.

What is this innova stamp?

It's on what looks like a viper, or something similar.

Bought it at a pawn shop, for less than 2 bucks.

In smaller writing, it says "Flying Discs for Competition" and "Professional Disc Golf Association Approved"

Kind of a football shaped stamp.

It's literally know as the "football stamp." It's an old Innova stamp, it was already out of use and collectible when I started playing in the early 90's. In that condition it's probably not worth much, but I would have bought it. Cool pickup.
