Been here for like 10 years...I'm tired of making a new thread every year:

Drivers:
1. Dx Teebird - stable, control
2. Star Roadrunner - distance
3. Dx Teebird - understable
4. Champ Teebird - mod. overstable
5. Dx Firebird - very overstable (ish)

Mids:
Z Buzzz - stable mid

P/A:
Soft Wizard - stable/understable putter

Distances:

Wizards go about 220, Buzzzes go to about 250-270 (on a good pull), Drivers go to about 320-340.

Drivers:
1. Champ Leopard - stable, control

*both my Dx Birds are getting pretty flippy at this point. So dropped one into the backup bin and moved a Champ Leo into the stable slot. It's still a little OS, but workable. Also, getting to the point of the Champ Teebird and Dx Firebird almost having the same slot...with the Firebird having a slight distance advantage.

Do you find that you miss an OS mid? Hoping my bag looks this simple someday

Usually not...if it's a windy round, I have a fresher, heavier Z Buzzz that tags along. Same with Wizards. Since I'm usually playing so quick, I'm usually carrying an Innova Standard Bag (or 3 discs sometimes) and just don't pack a bunch of extras. I might have a tourney coming up and the bag will fill out a little more around that time.

*Getting over mono, playing first leagues tonight (not contagious) and replaced Firebird with a Heimburg Q Draco

First Round of 2023

Finally got out yesterday to a really easy putter course to get the rust knocked off. All the holes are sub-220 so most of it is standstill putter BH/FH.

ITB:

174g SS Wizard - new

Changing up some putters for this year's doubles season. Played with a JK last week and enjoyed it.

ITB for Doubles this year:

167g Star Roadrunner - seasoned
174g JK Aviar - good

Gonna grab a Dx Roc for today's league and see if that fits in.

167 Star RR - distance driver
167 Champ Leo - stable control driver
171 Dx Roc - solid #2 Roc...can't wait to beat it flippy
175 JK Aviar - stable putt/approach

This is a solid lineup for my weekly doubles league. Making a goal to stick with it through the season and add to it as needed.

Do any of your doubles partners worry that you don't have enough shots in your bag? Still love the simplicity. I have to try pairing down a little more.

your bag reminds me of when I'd show up at leagues with a wizard, buzz and glow stalker.

still like playing with super simple setups from time to time with my cell bag.

I've played my local course so frequently at this point the lines are pretty automatic and (if I'm throwing the disc well that day) I really just need a stable putter, stable mid and stable to slightly US fairway/control driver and just shape lines. Wizard/Buzzz/Stalker sounds like a great trio.

*Yes, I know RR's aren't "OS" but this is a fresh, pop-top Star that is beefy for the mold and works for my arm. I can toss it on anny flex's and straight shots and it fades a good bit. It also glides for days. Dx Roc is stubborn. JK is an amazing thrower and putter.

Mixing it up a little...still digging the JK, Buzzz is back in because that Roc is too stubborn and needed a straight flyer start to finish. Valks are back...got a light one from my dad for stable/US shots and a newish G* for straight to fade shots and flex shots.

doubles lineup for tonight:

170 Star SW - brand new, "OS" SW
171 Star SW - go-to stable driver
167 Star RR - US driver
174 Z Buzzz - stable mid
174 JK Aviar - stable p/a

Might throw a Clash Berry in the bag I've been meaning to test drive. IDK.

167 Star RR - well seasoned RR
171 Champ Wombat3 - yes, it's a Wombat3
175 Dx Xero - I liked the P1x so...
