I can't find this disc anywhere!!!

I cannot find any information about this disc anywhere. The disc is a QLJS Quantum by Millennium
It says nothing else on the front. It is really tacky like old CE(I guess that's what to call it) Pat #

First off, Millennium contracts Innova Champion Discs do their molding of discs. They're Millennium molds but Innova makes the discs for Millennium with the same plastics Innova is using at the time but Millennium calls the plastic type by another name ie. Quantum=Champion; Sirius=Star; Millennium Standard or Base=Pro)

Yours is an old Quantum run after Innova phased out CE(short for Champion Edition) which transitioned into the modern 'Champion' plastic in 2003ish. Millennium did run CE discs, stamped CE-JLS and the 2002 doubles stamp that Brandocommando9 posted pics of earlier in this thread.

Millennium also has runs of CE Blend QJLSs also pictured in Brando's pics. They have the bubble stamp with the misspelled PDGA "appoved" markings. There are other Millennium base runs marked 1.6 and 1.7 (I have enough so I guess I can let the secret out) but not all of the discs in those runs are CE blends so buyer beware. The story is Innova didn't have enough Pro plastic on hand at the time so they added Champion Edition plastic to the mix and shipped it to Millennium for their base plastic discs. I've also owned early runs of Champion that were CE but collectors have ways of exaggerating so buyer beware.

Finally, those fingerprints are a sure sign that the plastic is starting to break down and leach out oil making them more brittle and more likely to explode on contact, especially in cold weather, so given that and its a hard to find dark color it might be time to unload it or hang it on the wall. peace

Thanks for the info... My buddy picked it up for 6 bucks, we hadn't seen one that looked like that before.

You're welcome... a very underrated mold in today's market of multitude options. They're great for cycling to cover a wide range of lines from stable to understable. Longer than a mid, somewhere between a Leopard and TL in stability that excels at hyzerflips for tunnels and turnovers. A lot of players would do well to use speed 6 discs like the JLS and wait to try higher speed fairways after they develop more control.

That is what used to be called a 1.2 QJLS (They are now known as 1.3s, which makes more sense given the plastic).

It's the same early Champ that was labelled/called "Candy Pro" in other Innova molds.

All 1.1 and most every 1.2 QJLS is CE plastic. 1.1 have the bubble background in a different foil color from the "QJLS", while 1.2s have the bubbles stamped in the same foil as the "QJLS".

Yours there is the next run, right after the CE runs. Generally more OS than the CE runs, and very well liked by JLS throwers.

While the 1.6 cm rim (same wing as a Whippet, but sporting a Teebird top) on the JLS technically makes it a speed 6, they have tremendous glide and you will often see them classified as a speed 7 or 8. They are longer than most speed 6 drivers.

PS. San Marino Q Sentinels are not CE plastic.
