mini clipboards

Get the .89 one from walmart. Remove the "clip" by drill out the rivets and then take an old beat to hell loaner disc (Putter works best) attach the clip. Now you have a DG Clipboard that will fit into your putter pocket and also you can also toss/pass it to the next person to keep score.

I liked this idea and have been thinking about it for a while
here is my first try
I think I will redo it later with the other style clip and better fitting plastic sheet

but i want a real small one also

walmart +2, got mine for 3$ its dayglo yellow and fits in between disc or in the putter pocket.
so i bought one of these ^^^^^^ but now i want to cut it down to about half its current size
what the best tool? sawzall?

6 x 9 clip boards for less than $2 at your neighborhood Staples, Office, Depot, Office Max...
Too big for you? Easy to cut it down with no more than a hacksaw.
Cheap, simple, effective, customizable, easy to obtain, no waiting.

I personally think the 6X9 clipboard is to big to carry. I just ordered a 6.5" X 4" clipboard from the link below the text. Pricey I know but it's handmade and looks really neat. This clipboard will also fit into my velcro pocket on the side of my innova bag which makes for easy access. I just made some scorecards that will fit the clipboard perfectly as well on excel. Can't wait to get the clipboard in the mail. There are a few other clipboards I considered as well. I'll link them. They are all smaller than the 6" X 9" ones.

I bought a discnation clipboard keychain holder. Haven't tested it yet but it looks pretty solid. Holds a golf pencil too

 I own the 2nd translucent one & it works fine (not that I've ever had a problem with any clipboard before)

I really wanted the second one but I refuse to pay $8 to ship something that small. It would bring the total to $11 for that clipboard! So for the extra few bucks I went with the nice wooden handmade one.

I keep a 6x9 acrylic clipboard in my innova bag between the U-channel and the bag itself, you can kinda see it in my bag picture. It fits great and different course have different scorecards, on the occasion the course doesnt have a scorecard I keep extra blank cards.

A clipboard of any size seems like a pain in the arse to me.
What is the purpose/benefit?

Its no more a pain than carrying a stool or carrying 20+ discs but I like to keep score and track my round (putts/missed putts/pin positions). Its amazing what keeping score can do to help build your game. Also, there was a guy that used to play in our weekly group that always said he shot between -1 and -4 but once I started keeping score he never shot below +1, of course until he left our group and now he's always below par:confused:
