Sigh. That oak had to be well over 200 years old. Imagine what took place over the years around that ground where it grew. It literally makes me want to cry to think it is gone. What a magnificent tree it was. RIP big ol' tree.
I only played the course for the first time yesterday and was very disappointed I had to skip that hole. What are your plans for #13? Are you going to remove the tree and let it play as is or was that tree an integral part to the hole?
Btw, I loved the course otherwise. First 9 were brutal to me but I picked it up on the back 9. #14 was my favorite with the double mando.
