PDGA # 50,000

99971 is the latest ive found but a few missing inbetween it and the number before it.

At 99995 and the page is taking a long time to refresh...

...and the refreshed page is up to 100005.

The site was groaning under the load, so I didn't trust that my click on the PAY button would register exactly at the moment of truth, so no membership for Inky the Cat this time around.

There's always #250,000. . .

I hit the button to pay at 99,992, and missed it by quite a few. My choice of PayPal might have been what got me. I'm definitely happy to have an easy to remember number.

Looking at the recent members, the same person is listed for 100036 and 100037. How does that work?

Tried for 100000....got my daughter 100075. Still can't find her on the pdga site.....

Did we blow it up?

So more than HALF of ALL PDGA registrants have signed up after August 2011. Just over 6 years. With this thread starting around the 40,000 mark.
So when do we roll the odometer over and double again to 200,000? October 2, 2020?

200,000 June 2022
1,000,000 April 2033

I'm sure the numbers guy has this growth chart mapped out - and I bet it's close.

Steve - on this chart I'm sure you could draw some Error Bands/Confidence Intervals like guessing the track of a hurricane. What kinds of factors could really "move the needle" in a positive or negative way over the next 5-15 years to influence up or down the 200K and 1MM dates?

In nearly 3 years before this thread started, membership jumped by about 2300. I signed up sometime in the fall of 2008 and got #37789. If that growth had been linear, we'd only be at about 44,700 right now

Just signed up a couple days ago. Got #100392. Thinking I'm going to get my friends membership for Christmas gifts. We usually do discs or PIAS gift cards but PDGA membership seems like a good alternative.

You mean like trying to register for the 2016 AmWorlds on the first night? The servers crashed and we had to wait two more weeks to attempt to register.

Yep, I was one of them that had to register twice.
