That's Loriella #4.

You guys decided to move the short tee out from the woods there? Good. I was always worried about hitting some sneaky runner coming around that corner

We added a third tee pad to #4. A lot of new players don't know where the white tee is because it's in the trees and end up playing the long tee. Hopefully this one will be easier to see and will be fun for the noobs.

The funny thing it was requested by one of our members so we added it and as we were building it one of our oldest players (About 80) that throws everything side arm roller about 100' walks by and asks me...

"You putting in a ladies tee?"

It cracked me up...

Signature hole at Riverside in St. Cloud MN. The basket is just to the right center at the top of the hill.

I miss playing Riverside three to four times a week. I lived up there for eight years and it is such a shame that I did not pick up the sport until the last year up there. This course is where I learned how to play.

This particular hole is so completely different when the basket is on the left versus on the right. I never had a problem with it either way, though.

The holes I had issues with were 4 (left dogleg that followed the fence) and 11? I believe it is the hole after the one you photographed. It is where you have to cross the parking lot that is never used (but still treat it as OB) and then fight your way through a few trees heading back up the hill. It has been a while since I played this course, but back in the day when I was considerably newer, it was always 50/50 whether I would clip a tree or not before I even got down to the parking lot.

My favourite hole at the new course we are designing...starts out wide and open but then its a tunnel of trees prob about 70m) all the way to the basket. The red basket just pops in this photo. Hottest spring day in history I believe, 37 Celsius...it was winter 3 weeks ago!

Nice. I played there once last fall, and they were ripping out a parking lot at the bottom of the hill. Looks better now.
