So, during some field practice I decided to try something new. I remember reading about doing this "rip cord" technique, similar to the motion you would use when you're skydiving. So, with no footwork, no movement whatsoever, I gave it a try. My disc is gone, I've never put that much snap on a disc in my life lol.
Apparently, I can replicate this, and use it as a much improved version of my drive. But I was wondering if it's effective? Could I add run up to this throw to add more distance? Or is it a waste of time to practice this type of form?
