Simon Lizotte Knee Injury

One point to add - it was a 360 he injured himself on, not his x-step form. I think his form is the smoothest of any top pro, and honestly pretty effortless in terms of impact on the body, very efficient.

Good to hear. Like i said i was not ripping any of the top level pro's form just know simon CRUSHES! Do you have any insight on if these guys meet with personal trainers or other joint/muscle specialists etc?

I know at one time dave/avery/sandstorm were pretty hardcore into the "body" side just wondering if anything has come of it.

Honestly I don't think so, with the exception of McBeth. Sandstrom might as well, I just don't know him other than thru his occasional social media posts.

I think when this generation of guys gets closer to 30 than 20, and those young guns just coming of age start to really compete, we'll see a shift in attitudes in this regard.

These guys compete very hard, even we can see that just from YouTube clips, and lots of their precision and fine-tuning comes from playing so many events and so many practice rounds. My prediction is as it gets more crowded near the top, there will be even more selective focus on bigger events, less quantity of throws, and optimizing the body for those moments.

Think you can make an argument, to a small degree, that McBeth has already done this. He took off that long stretch after La Mirada, then did it again after Vibram. I know part of it has been for rehab, but I could easily see this as being the beginning of him choosing only to play NTs and Majors. Probably help to avoid burnout long term, too.

I believe your prediction will be correct. It's sort of like the very top (golf ball) golf players becoming selective in their tournaments, while the majority grind through the PGA Tour.

necessity is the mother of all invention...or change in this case.
