World, Sorcerer, Harp, Hatchet
Anyone have any advance knowledge of these new bad boys? All that is on the Westside site at the moment is that the World and Sorcerer are both distance drivers, the Harp is a putter, and the Hatchet is a control driver.
Pure speculation incoming, all guesswork:
One of the distance drivers (World/Sorcerer) will be a decently overstable, roughly 11 speed disc. I'm thinking around a Pulse/Crush/Avenger range. Something to fill whatever gap is between a Giant/King/Boatman/Stag. More US Giant, More OS Boatman, Slower King, Faster Stag. 11/5/-1/4.
The other distance driver will be a warp speed majorly understable disc. Think around a Vulcan/Nuke SS/TD Rush/Avenger SS. Something to be more extreme than the Underworld/Northman. More US than the Northman, Faster than an Underworld. 13/4/-4/2
The Harp is fairly safe to bet as an overstable putter. Their only current putter is extremely understable. Other brands have hugely successful max OS putters. Think Rhyno/Zone. I'm thinking it won't be that extreme. Something around a Challenger/big bead Aviar. I love the Swan as my main putter, but as the company's only available putter, there is a major hole in their lineup there. 3/3/-1/3.
The Hatchet I'm guessing to fill the middle stability gap left by the Northman/Warship/Stag/Underworld. Slower than a Northman, Faster than a Warship, More OS than an Underworld, More US than a Stag. Think around a Vision/Stalker/FD Jackal. Then again they may be releasing an extremely OS utility disc like a Flick or a Firebird. 8/6/-1/2
Partially my speculation is what would either fill in gaps for Westside or fulfill popular wants from Disc golfers, and partially these are my own hopes as discs that I would be interested in trying.
