We are excited to announce the upcoming Winter Carnival Disc Sports Festival. Once again, winter is here and the Winter Carnival is fast approaching. We are planning a very similar event to that of last year – 24 holes of great Disc Golf at Como Park and two days of Ultimate. The event will take place January 27th, and 28th at Como Park in St Paul.

The one big change this year is that we are going to a two-day event. The Ultimate competition will span both days for the single event. However, for Disc Golf you will have an option to play either Saturday or Sunday or both days. If enough people choose to play both days, there will be a separate pool of players and scores for those players, otherwise the two-day players will get to register a score for payouts twice. Our goal is to get at least 25 registered in the "two-day" pool. Games for Ultimate will likely start around 9am, and play for Disc Golf will initiate as it did last year: show up, check in, head to hole one. Tee times will go as late as 12:30-1:00pm.

The first 100 registered players for each event are guaranteed a complete players pack, but the more early registrations we get, the deeper we will commit to going with the event merchandise. So please register online or over the phone as soon as you can and spread the word.

You can register online at www.gottagogottathrow.com or call us locally at
612-766-9599. If you are a minor, you will need the consent/waiver form signed by a parent or guardian prior to arriving at check-in. Otherwise, you can fill one out here in the shop or upon check in the day of the event.

We are a registered Ice Bowl event. One of the core aspects of the Ice Bowl is to support our local food shelf. This year we partnered with Second Harvest Heartland Food shelf so please, if you can - kick in some extra cash when you register and bring some non-perishable food item(s) with you to Como Park. We are really trying to elevate the support of the food shelf and the charitable aspect of this event so any and all support you provide in this regard is highly appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you there.
