Stencil Thread

there you go. i thought illustrator was the free one, but i guess inkscape works just as good. i just use Photoshop CS4
 
Here are a few I have found. I really like the spade skull. I was thinking that would be a good dye if for an ace disc.

Use Gimp to make the stencil images. Free, legal, and easy to use. They even have it for Mac. (Which is what I use.) And it runs great.
 
use the filters on photoshop, they have one called "neutral" and one called "maximum white"

turned my dye contest design into a stencil in 1 second. woot! now i don't have to "magic wand" all the color out
 
try the "image" tab, then "adjustments" then "black and white"

then you go through their preset ones, i usually just crank all the colors up to +300

but then again, i use PS CS4...so i don't know about Elements
