IMO, an opto trident can cover pretty similar lines to a zone/drone (more on the drone side, though).

I'm a Disc Junkie and always trying new discs, but have some Lat 64s that never leave the bag.
Saint and River for straight shots, Opto Halo for forehand throw and Pure for putts.
The newer ones I'm digging now are Air Halo which is more stable than I expected and the Air Bolt for controllable understable.
