Texas courses underwater 2015 edition

Lucy park.

Closest anyone can get to Lucy park in Wichita Falls Texas courstsey of Simeon Hendrix. It's probably a 4 foot decline into the park from the entrance. Those will be the only birdies on the course for probably another week

I saw a pic (couldn't find it) of a guy playing disc golf and catching fish on the same hole in Tx. Nice. :)

My friend Larry posted these earlier in the week as he was playing Lake Park in Lewisville.

It's crazy because this is the course everyone used to play after it rained.

I think he said #17 is like 360 ft. to carry the water.

I haven't been to Lester Lorch or Crossroads, but I'd bet Crossroads would be in the best shape. The little creek along the first three holes drains really well and the hills on the rest of the course would probably keep it in good shape.

The pond, if flooding, would make Beaver #9 a water carry to a very narrow fairway. (about 200 feet or so). Snakes would be up out of the flooding, so be careful if you go out there. Coyote would be in good shape though. Just the expected mud.

Thanks. I've never played Crossroads, just trying to find an alternative we can play that isn't too far. We're coming from mid cities.

Your brother and I played in McKinney yesterday. I played barefoot so I could just wade through the puddles (small ponds) in the fairways and around the baskets. It was surprisingly fun.

My Axiom Envy ricocheted into the creek that was running fast. Gone. Your bro lost one of his drivers too.

I was there a few weeks ago and had a Roc ricochet into the creek. Hole 8 I believe. It was pretty flooded out there then too.

The creek at Carver Park in Keene is flowing really crazy. I had a disc go in it, and it was carried off way down creek somewhere. It may not even be on the park property any more. I've never seen it like that there.
Our private course has a grand total of 2 out of 16 holes playable. There are probably some playable ones in the back, but you'd have to wade through waist deep water to get to them.

Better bring your hydra, wahoo, and dragon!

The only thing a floating disc would be for is being able to see it go downstream faster than you can keep up. You'd get swept away if you fell in. 15 dollars of plastic isn't worth it.

Has anyone played Lester Lorch since all this rain? Or Crossroads? We were thinking of driving out there tomorrow. Or Z Boaz, but I can't imagine that is playable with all the low spots near the creek it already has.

Hole 9 on beaver may be the only hole that is tough. Coyote is fine. Another big tree has fallen near the #7 basket on beaver. It's blocking the path to hole 8 and coyote. You have to walk under a bunch of big branches. Be careful.

The pics of Lake Lewisville were made when the lake was about 8 feet into flood stage. This morning, the lake is 10.94 feet high and we're going to get storms this afternoon.

Checked again that it has been changed to "only" 9.43 feet above flood stage. I'll correct myself.

From the waxahachie disc golf page. I screen shot the page so you can get a reference of the hole. That post is just right of that tree. So the fairway is gone. This is hole 2

Am world dubs should be fun this weekend at selah... [emoji55]

Here's Paschall DGC in Mesquite. This is the fairway for #3. I can only imagine what it looks like in the back where it's even lower.

Check out the #17 basket from a recent pic Lake Lewisville. The photographer is on the 18th tee pad and the basket is in the water toward the right.
