AirMcNair, I will try to make it, sounds like a fun time. I was asked to use the area where they park at for some of the course(the field). I wish we could plant trees, or make other obstacles for the open holes, but they use it for concert and other parking and it is just too much for them to be removing for every event. Not to mention storm water and waste would have a fit disturbing the buffer zone any further. They wanted the course to be visible to the dinning customers as well as the tour bus when it passes by. In essence they wanted to see more activity in that area. We tried to use as many of the obstacles we could to break up those shots(3's semi tight wooded area, 5 over the creek, 8 next to the stage area, 16's magnolia, 15's telephone pole, 18's tree line) but it is still a field we realize. We used almost every bit of the area we could without having multiple trips up and down the mountain. The whole thing was set up in an attempt to bring some new golfers in from the crowd that already visit's fontanel. so, yes there are some easy shots...and it's not as challenging as..., but it was supposed to have elements that would appeal to most every golfer, noob and pro alike. We really hope we did that. But we realize not everyone is gonna love it.
