The Dye A Day Thread!

I would give you my mix but right now it is not set. I have been experimenting with different mixes trying to get the perfect mix for a specific disc. I still am not able to get the detail level I am looking for from the air brushing. But for this dye it was about 16 oz acetone to one package of Rit Dye.

Nope those are not mine. Though I will admit to seeing them, a friend asked me to dye a kio on one of his disc so I did 2 of them one for him and another on the white 173 surge I had.

Got my request in with 3M today! Somebody asked me today if we use electric tape when we dye discs. Seems like a lot of seams, but actually sounds like it could work. I don't think any of us would use this method when vinyl is so much easier. But I'm curious if anyone has tried or what your opinion is on this.
