Thought of entering this into the Okthrowberfest comp, but was too late. I thought it worked on a couple levels. Having seen the field though, I am glad I didn't. I don't like finishing last. ;)

Thanks for the compliments... I was pretty bummed about it for a while. I lost it on a busy course without my name on it. I hope whoever has it now is enjoying it at least.

I even dyed the inside with red four or five times to get a good gradient... :(

Painted a previous dye last night.

Can never seem to get a good picture of a dye. Any tips?

Fractals!
Well, sorta.

A Kock's Snowflake or Serpinski's Triangle would look pretty awesome.

The bottom one certainly is, nice stencil Eky8!

Using a higher f-stop will increase the "in focus" range (depth of field) bringing the whole disc into focus. I like it around 7 light permitting. If you can't manually control your f-stop use the portrait setting. Glare is always a problem with any kind of direct light source, either mute it with some kind of diffuser (I use printer paper) or just tilt the disc till its at a minimum.

Celebrating this special page # with an old favorite.
