I'm abit sceptical about that game, mainly since it's just a fun addon for golfgamers and for some reason I doupt that they know what they are doing 
The other thing is the same as with almost every sport game, it's more fun live. Disc golf is cheap as a hobby(not talking about people with ~100 discs) you can go buy midrange disc with 10$ and go throw free at any course(atleast here in Finland) as opposed to a game that costs 60$ or so, and you can go play disc golf in pretty much any weather, it's even more fun in winter since there arent that many people throwing.
I must admit it's quite nice to see that disc golf is starting to get some recognition. Then there's that people will try discgolf after seeing it in the game and courses will get abit more crowded so we'll have to get more courses, which is a good thing in the end.
