Good stores to visit to possibly pick up a disc or two and a few courses to play in the glenview/niles/wilmette/skokie/northbrook (90/294/94) area! Thanks!

No "great" courses in that area. Play it Again Sports in Northbrook is the only local shop.

Fairfield is your best bet...it's worth the drive for 2 18 hole layouts.

Adler Park would be another decent option...it's probably the best 9 hole course close to the area you mentioned.

After that, the rest of the course options are all pretty much the same. All of them are easily forgettable easy 9 hole courses.

I live in that area, and typically drive up to Fairfield when I want to play a serious round. It's a 45-60 minute drive depending on exactly where you are, and the time of day.

Community Park West in Glenview is good for a quick round or some putting practice. The holes aren't very exciting but it's well maintained with good baskets, and usually a good amount of wind to make it interesting.
