I've seen a few courses have a warm-up basket. It seems to be a good way to quickly re-acquaint yourself with the feel of your putter in your hands, and to rattle a few chains before you get on the course.
My question, though, is this: why don't more courses (and maybe they do and I just haven't seen one yet) have a net Just put a net five feet off the end of a cement pad and let people chuck plastic into it. You could then "warm up" pretty quickly for throws over 50 feet to a basket.
Right?
