Very Well Done Course, Professionally Done and Laid Out, Enjoyable Round! 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 3, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Good baskets.

- Good signage.

- Dirt tee pads, but didn't take away from enjoyment.

- Good mix of distances on this course with some opportunities to throw some bombs.

- A bit of OB to make it interesting, though this isn't a technically challenging course. Other than these couple of spots you can proactively be aware of if you so choose it's very difficult to lose discs.

- Gravel paths leading to the next tee pad is super nice touch, very easy to navigate.

- Great course for carts.

- Not much shade on this course and it's fairly long.

Cons:

- Is this supposed to be a private residents-only course? We never saw this sign that supposedly exists but it's a bummer if you're not supposed to actually be on the course.

- Not much elevation difference (a tiny bit I guess) and no truly unique holes, very well done course and laid out, but no wow or unique factor.

- Smelled a bit weird, apparently due to water reclamation nearby?

Other Thoughts:

Wasn't sure what to rate this course, there's a bizarre mix of perfect ratings and 1.5 star ratings, which I don't understand. It's somewhere between a 3 and 3.5 in my mind. Course itself isn't the greatest but it's been very professionally executed.

Not a super memorable course and I wouldn't go out of my way to play it if I was back in the Phoenix area, but overall an enjoyable round and I'd be happy to have it as my local course.

One update: forgot to give a shout out to the Verrado Coffee Company which we hit up on our way out of town, it's just on the other side of Highway 10 when you're coming up S Verrado Way. We've been to a lot of coffee shops across North America and we really enjoyed this place, wanted to give it a quick shout out!
