How anal are you about your equiptment?

Sometimes I accidentally tip over my bag and see leaves and dirt in the bottom. I might take that opportunity to shake out the bag.

My discs get cleaned during rainy rounds. Otherwise, I'll just knock off clumps of dirt if I think they'll negatively effect flight. I lose towels more than anything, so they rarely get washed.

I rarely clean my discs or bag. In fact, Im still using the same towel that ive had on my bag since the summer. Most likely has poison ivy residue on it still, ad then I wonder why I get a rash in the winter time lol.

I air dry everything after soggy days and on rare occasions I go through everything and remove a build up of granola bar wrappers.

My discs get wiped down and I hate mud build-up, but dislike the feel of a 'washed' disc

Letting your discs get cleaned "naturally" probably helps strengthen your immune system based on recent studies. Although you might want to clean the ones handled by a player who appears to be sick.

I throw my disc on the basement floor after wet muddy rounds so they/my bag can dry. Once dry, they get a quick wipe before they go back in the bag. I wash my muddy towels.
During a round, I wipe my discs before I throw. Knock off the big clumps with a finger or whacking against a tree or whatever.

My disc are always in the same order in my bag (L--->R: Destroyers, OLFs, OLRs, Gazelles, Rocs, overstable to understable). Except the four Wizards up top (Octothorpe) can be in any order (I can quickly see which is which).

I never wash my discs. I equate it to when I used to play traditional golf, every time I used the ball washer i'd lose my ball. So nope. I will dump the debris out of my bag occasionally. Towels get washed when I do laundry (if I remember).

My discs are organized by frequency of use and color. When the top compartment of my Ranger bag is holding beer (always) the discs at the far left and right are hard to get out so that is where the specialty discs go. I also organize by color so I can just glance to make sure none are missing. I always carry the same number of discs, 9 left of the divider and 9 on the right plus 2 putters in the pocket. The discs are always in the same location in the bag so I can pull a disc out at night and know exactly what I have based on where it came from in the bag. Also easy to count to nine twice to make sure all discs are in there.

Idk if its just me but I cant stand a complete dirty bag. At the end of each week I take all my disc out, take the vaccume hose to my bag and wipe it down with a wet cloth. Then wash all my towels and wipe down my disc. Just curious if anyone else is like this or what is your weekly, daily, montly or yearly cleaning routine.

They're just, like, frisbees n shizz...:D

Once I spilled, like, several beers in my bag and when the smell eventually became unbearable I put it through the wash.

Other than that, the dirtier the better! :p

I play a lot of early morning rounds, so just wiping the dew off of my discs after every throw keeps them clean enough. If my towels get muddy I'll rinse them out in the sink then dry them. I did throw one into the laundry basket the other day and it looks brand new so I might do more of that. And I probably dump my bag out every couple of months to get rid of leaves and sticks.

Take the discs to the car wash monthly. Take my bags to the dry cleaners as needed. Discs are carried in the bags sorted alphabetically. Unless I am mad at one, then it goes into the penalty pouch.

I wipe down the discs as needed during and after rounds if they get muddy or wet. Otherwise I really don't clean my disc golf equipment.

I'm with the dirty crew. I've never washed any of my 8 bags. And I've only rinsed off my discs after a particularly sloppy round. The towels get washed every other month or so, or after a muddy round.

I'm 100% anal. I don't even like setting my bag on the ground if I can help it.

Discs wiped after every throw, if they have mud, wet grass, or other crap on them.

Discs and bag get a final wipe down after every round.

Towels get used only once a round, and washed once there's enough for a load in the washer.

Discs get a warm bath after every round with soap and bleach.

As for the OP question, I would have said I'm normal, but I guess I AM anal.

Having said all that, there have been a couple times recently that I haven't washed the discs post round, and they feel better. Like super clean is not how disc golf should be.

Sort of like a football uniform needs a few grass stains or it doesn't look like you played if it's pristine after the game (bench sitter).

I like to soak my discs in the bathtub for a day or two with baby oil. I then take them out one by one and softly rub the blemishes out. Afterwards, I throw my bag in the bottom of my well. Every so often I lower bottles of lotion while I calmly tell it "IT RUBS THE LOTION ON ITS SKIN OR ELSE IT GETS THE HOSE AGAIN". The towels I only use for one round and then throw them away. Anything else would be unsanitary. I would not say that I am anal at all...Hey on a side note who's up for a quick afternoon round?

Once a year my discs will get a washing before I fly up to Michigan. otherwise my bag gets cleaned when I go from my everyday grip to the octothorp on a rainy day. Mud gets wipped off when it goes back into the bag. Just a little bit of dirt on them can help with grip on a hot day so I try not to wash them clean as a whistle too much.
