[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Official Thread) (Part IV)

The only wave i've thrown was a 150g and it was hyzer release to roller flippy. I do have an inertia but that takes a lot of hyzer to keep it from turning and it still wants to fade pretty hard at the end unless i keep it really low. Throwing farther than I can aim

I guess i was kinda wondering if a catalyst or mayhem has less fade or if they have they have the same fade but with more turn. Throwing farther than I can aim

Suggestions for a distance driver with less fade than the octane? When thrown flat i get some turn and a bunch of glide out of my proton octane but it always has that big fade at the end. Its a super dependable disc and im definitley keeping it in the bag but sometimes i need a straighter...

Trying to Learn (video form critique)

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rRmHo2PSABuG-Q9HOS3eQwGyJNdLEpog/view?usp=sharing I was trying to focus on maintaining my spine angle and not tipping or swaying too much. Sorry about the skip in the video, I'm not sure why that happened.

I haven't thrown a crave but i would describe my inspire as having almost no fade. Thrown flat it will have a late and slow turn. Thrown with moderate hyzer it pops up and just goes straight. Its the only inspire I've thrown though so idk, it could be a freak. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Im mostly bh, I've never tried throwing it for distance but it works great on 320-350ish holes that need a late and gradual right finish. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Never thrown a SW but i've found my inspire to be surprisingly stable for a disc with no fade. Super trustworthy disc for mild hyzerflip to straight finish or when thrown flat it has a nice slow controllable turn. I always hated throwing understable discs that just roll like crazy if i missed my...

Trying to Learn (video form critique)

It was warm enough yesterday that I got out to do some field work for the first time this year. Being early in the year and still a little chilly, I did feel kind of stiff. Let me know what I need to focus on to keep improving. https://photos.app.goo.gl/D2IirDwUofirZE042 Also, photobucket...

I've never seen turn from my neutron envys when thrown bh even out to 300ft. I have 2 proton matrix both 170+ and they are both super straight. On throws from 280 to maybe 310 they have 0 turn and barely fade left. On longer throws they fly straight until a very late and gradual finish to the...

    question: active or passive arm?

    question: active or passive arm?

Start off by allowing your arm to "fling" or whip open from momentum like you said and focus on the way it feels as the levers of your arm opening create that acceleration with almost no input from the arm muscles. Then begin to titrate in conscious extension of the arm, but only in a way that...

Trying to Learn (video form critique)

Its been a long time since i posted to this thread. I have spent the last year just trying to make small adjustments to increase consistency and smoothness. I have also been strength training (gained about 40lbs) which i feel has greatly improved the athleticism of my movement. My aim and...

    Explain "rip" to me please!

If you can hold on to the disc throughout a whole throw then I think your pull line is too rounded and ur just swinging ur arm. The "rip" is the disc tearing out of your hand and happens because of the whip-like directional change that happens at full arm extension. Basically you accelerate the...
