I am Comet thrower and still feel that Axis is harder to throw straight than Comet. Axis is much more understable in HSS but has little more LSS stable. So when I need to go straight I throw Comet and when I need to go right (RHBH) I will choose Axis.
Only thing that can be seen is that the surface of the rim isn't that smooth as in regular champion. But these things are much more closer to champion than first gen blizzard discs.
Btw.
When compared to First Run Star (Echo) S-Line DD2 Frenzy, these discs got little less hi-speed stability.
What I can see that there isn't that big difference in feel between different weighs. I have seen much bigger differences example in Destroyers or Wraiths. DD2s feels almost same and I couldn't really tell which is which if I didn't know. As summary I can say that these things will fly FAR if...
I must add that the working window in BLIZ-DD2 is much more smaller than in similar Destroyer. There is much less hi-speed stability although low-speed stability is somewhat similar. Im Comet thrower and still think that maybe there is some OAT that causes this behavior in driving. I will give...
Just wow. I got 3 BLIZ-DD2 in different weights (148g, 156g and 166g). They scale very well in different weights. They have tremendous amount of glide. They fly 10% longer than BLIZ-Boss and -Destroyer in my use.
In fact I already have Z Wasp and it doesn't differ too much. ESP just gives me little bit better grip so that's why it's in the bag.
I had P-MD2 and it wasn't good for me. I don't know if C-line differs much from P-line in MD2... It was very close to Comet except Comet is much more versatile...
We are talking about 375 when driving with Rivers. I hope that TeeDevil is going to get me over 400 consistently...
Teebirds is 350-375 with comfort.
I'm not player who rips all out of hand. It just makes my game go very inconsistent.
I can use Polecats for very low powered drives. There...
Ok, I have posted my bag before season 2011 and now season it's getting to the end and my bag looks like this:
Putter:
2xInnova R-Pro Polecat (max weight)
This one is one and only putter I feel comfortable so I don't see any problems with this.
Mids:
1xDiscraft ESP Wasp (max weight)...
Ok, got some testing rounds in cold and snowy field with Comet.
Comet is quite unique disc what comes to its flight. It has virtually no fade at all. Thats why its quite easy to flip. Its all about technic. I threw it about twenty times and noticed that if I put too much power to my throw it...
Ok, got my new discs. Now my lineup looks like this:
Drivers:
Discraft ESP Avenger 173g
Discraft ESP Avenger SS 173g
Discraft Z Nuke 173g <- Just testing, I know my hand isnt enough for it so ignore it. :P
Discmania S-Line TD Rush 172g
Discwing Quarter K 2 174g
Fairway:
Discraft ESP XL 173g...
