I started this thread. Unfortunately, I can't delete it. All the replies kind of answered to my original question. Thanks for that.
Goodbye DGR, maybe I check in after the summer.
Make love not war...peace...whatever...let's cut the crap and go out play. Right?
If you can take the shot with a putter, do it. Putters don't have a lot of fade as you of course know. There a so many good mid ranges, so it's hard to say which one is the right for you. The one I'm using at the moment is a Z Comet. Honestly, that disc doesn't have (almost) any fade at all...
Low weight Champ Eagle-L does exist, but they're not stable enough for headwind. 150-class Star Eagle-X is pretty common. Still, I recommend the S-PD in 150-class.
If you're able to find a 150-class S-PD, take it. It's a much better windfighter than an Eagle at those low weights. I loved the one I had. I was stupid to go and sell it when I decided to switch to max weight discs.
Some changes, not that I really needed to do them, just wanted to switch some discs. Happy to see that I was able to squeeze it down to 10 discs. (I suppose I could do just fine with a Wizard, a Comet and two Teebirds).
Organic Wizard (beaten)
Soft Wizard (newish)
Z-Comet
Champ Gazelle

What happened to this forum? This used to be my lunchtime amusement, but nowadays here's not a lot of action. Even JR has stopped to spend his time writing here comments that we others are unable to understand.
Seriously, have you all started to play disc golf (instead of writing about it)?
Been throwing my Circle Stamp Gazelle a lot lately. Now that it's taken some damage it slightly resembles a casual DX Gazelle...but it totally lacks the glide of it. Still, this glideless piece of s**t has found a place in my bag. I use it as a midrange - it's very reliable, good for both...
No experience with 8x/9x Gazelles, but sounds like the Circle Stamp is a lot like them (compared to DX's). I only have one CS Gazelle, the other is CS Eagle (also overstable).
I won't be selling my Circle Stamps. Even if I have no use for these, they look great :D
Seriously, my old back...
4 molds or 4 discs?
4 molds (not limiting the amount of discs):
P2
MD2
FD
Flow
4 discs:
d-line P2
Z-Buzzz
Star Teebird
GL Flow (actually, I'd rather take 2 fairways, one slightly beaten Star TB and one new Champ TB, but the original poster wanted one disc in each category)
Finally had a chance to throw my Circle Stamps. Okay, about two months not playing, so I had lots of problems with my form, but still: holy shit, these are overstable compared to the "regular" ones. I liked the CS Eagle a lot, even if I wasn't able to throw it very far. The CS Gazelle left me a...
It's off-season for me now, but the big change for me last summer was that I dropped all (eh, almost all) high speed stuff out of bag. I found out that I don't really need anything faster than a Teebird. I have a very simple bag and all discs in it are essential to me. If I'm allowed to pick...
Yes I am. In fact, I already ordered one CS Gazelle and one CS Eagle. Haven't received them yet, nor am I able to throw them for a long time. But if someone has tried these, I'd love to hear some comments.
