This actually happens on that hole quite often. At one point there was a DX disc stuck up there for almost a year.

No, those wires are right in front of the teepad. Lots of peeps throw too high and get smacked down by those wires.
The tee is elevated and if you don't keep it down, there is the possibility of hitting the wires.

I've only ever seen drivers caught in the wires.
The hole has four positions.... going from mid to driver in length.
There is often wind on that hole so sometimes a mid or putter gets knocked down before it has a chance at glory.
Fun hole and an ace run when in the shortest of the four positions.
