Critters on the course you ran into...

Spiders don't bother me. In fact, I think they're kinda near. To be honest, insects get more of a reaction outta me.

My son and my ex-wife can't handle spiders, and I mean not at all. So I totally get how they freak some people out.

That said, about the size of 50¢ piece is pretty large, so that might elicit some response from me.

Well, yesterday I tried to get my phone out before he ran off, but on the Tee Pad for hole #2 at Jimmy Davis Park in LA, I walked up to a Fox. I thought it was a dog at first. When I realized it was a Fox I tried to grab my phone JUST to post a pic here, but he ran off before I could get it. I looked for him but could not find him again. I did see a couple of deer, plenty of small toads and too many squirls to count yesterday.

And the turtles keep on coming Waller Mill course Williamsburg Virginia walking from #13 long basket trail. Past the turtle is the 14 long tee, to the left is short tee. Left of the creek past the trees you can see the short basket. To the right up the hill long basket. I think 14 is the second most scenic hole on the course behind 7. Somewhere in the bottom of that muck, I tree clipped a Metal Flake Teebird about 3 years ago.

House centipedes at or bigger then one inch get me every time hose things I swear are not from Earth unlike all flat varieties. Bigger varieties freak me out too but House centipedes are smallest centipedes who get me and most millipedes are not bad maybe a bit odd but not creepy.

@DumfriesLizzie It was! Even better there was another! There seems to be a resident pair of barred owls & they have had multiple offspring here. Never witnessed the parents but others have. I've witnessed two clutches thus far. Here's the sibling of the one posted above. View attachment 344987
Sadly, The USF&W want to kill 1000's of these owls for the sake of spotted owls. I'm in the woods on courses around here all the time and I rarely see or hear these owls, which are typically the type we see. Hard to believe there's so many they need to cull them. Here's the story: MSN
