Driver/Mid ratio

This is what I currently carry, and I do realize that my bag is VERY unusual, but this combination actually works wonders for me:

Putters--7
2x Gateway Magic
2x Aviar (JK Pro & Champion)
3x Rhyno (Pro, R-Pro, & I-Dye Champion)

Mid-Range--10
7x Roc (2 DX, 2 KC Pro, 1 R-Pro, 2 San Marino Star)
1x Cro (R-Pro)
1x Gator (DX)
1x Mako (Star)

Drivers--9
1x Starfire (Champion--water worn)
1x Groove (I-Dye Champion)
2x Beast (Champion & I-Dye Champion)
1x Eagle (DX--water worn)
1x Katana (Pro)
1x Wraith (Pro)
2x Boss (R-Pro)

I'd love to hear what people think about this.

bolded is what you should drop, and you should add in an overstable driver (firebird or pred), and an understable fairway driver (beat in eagle does the job)

drop the bosses depending on how far you throw.

that is what I think about it, you can take or leave my advice. I am also assuming some of your rocs are very beat in, to take over your understable mid slot

for casual rounds i carry 2 drivers, 2 mids, 2 putters... or less. usually less.

lately ive been carrying a wraith, tl, mako, roc, 2 pigs.

i think it really depends on what you use for shots. most of my drives can be done with a wraith or a tl so i don't really need more than that.. unless i'm carrying multiple tl's.

as far as mids i like to have at least my basic three in serious rounds which is the mako, roc and wolf.

This is my normal carry:

Putters -- 4
2x Pure (Zero and Grip Line)
1x Dart (R-Pro)
1x Zone (ESP)

Midrange -- 7
2x Core (Opto and Gold Line)
1x Fuse (Opto)
1x Roc (Champion)
1x Pain (Opto)
1x Drone (ESP FLX)
1x Meteor (ESP)

Drivers -- 10
1x Avenger SS (ESP FLX)
1x River (Gold Line)
2x Striker (Gold Line)
1x Trident (Gold Line)
1x Blitz (Opto)
2x Flow (Opto and Gold Line)
1x Halo (Gold Line)
1x Nuke (Elite Z)

Most of the discs you have highlighted unfortunately make my bag tick.

The Rhynos are for putting on windy days and for throws of up to 235'.

I could conceivebly do without the Cro and the Gator, but parting with my Mako would be like trying to get Al Gore to drop the global warming theory--not happening.

The Groove was there for just a one-time deal--it's being traded away ASAP.

The Katana and Bosses are downwind drivers (one Boss only weighs 133).

As for the overstable driver, the Starfire is it. Yes it's water logged, but I CANNOT turn it over. It's the TL of my distance drivers.

Now normally I have about 4 fairway drivers and only about 3 long drivers (u/s, stable, and o/s), but the tournament I just played ate two drivers and I had use a different combination because of the course (which I wasn't very fond of).

yeah, if you are comfortable with your molds, and you are happy with your scores, there is no reason to change. I just took your challenge ;)

Once I put drivers back in my bag, it will look like this:

3-4 Valks (2 Champ, 1-2 DX)
1 Elite X Predator
1 Champ Eagle
1 DX TeeBird
2 Buzzzes (1 Elite X and 1 ESP)
1 DX Roc
1-2 DX Sharks
2 DX Aviar Putters

I carry a wide variety of discs in my bag I 'd like the feed back
Putters
1- ion med
1- ion soft
Mids
1-condor
1-vector
1-mako
1-stingray
1-kc roc new
1-kc roc beat in

1 driver, 4 mids, 1 putter. The courses down here are mostly short and woody so drivers are seldom needed. (I'm calling the Stalker a mid)

you're putters and mids look solid but all you have for drivers are high speed discs. look in to some fairway drivers like a tbird or a leopard. i really don't see the point in having nukes, bosses and destroyers... bosses and destroyers are pretty much the same disc IMO.

@New013 I was the first person in my league to play with a Mako when they came out. I had so much success with it that everybody started getting them and using them. It's nice to have when you've got a tight line to hold.
