[Other] Post your most recent plastic purchase-Reboot

Just picked up these from MST -

168g, 175g Elasto Underworld
ridiculous dome.. wasnt sure about these when I got them out of the box, but they feel good and fly good too. Once I got the turn dialed in I parked SeaTac #25 (not something Ive done beore...)

167g, 168g Biofuzion Felon
heh, these are the opposite of the Underworlds... board flat. Nice and beefy for Felons.

171g Frontline-X Mortar (1st run)
Very nice disc, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Super comfortable, great grip (probably a little floppy for people who dont like a lot of flex) and good flier, but not as OS as I expected. I didnt get as many throws in with this, but I'm not sure I really need a disc between my Harp and Verdict, and I dont think its a good candidate to replace either one.

Just delivered today, 155 & 157 X-Out Opto Air Rivers. Arguably the best disc for my noodle arm I've ever thrown. Love that extra glide, especially on an anny line, to weave between trees.

I've got two Recon & two Frontline-X Mortars. They're all the most recent run (1.2) & all have Jared Roans signature on them. The first runs are all domey (Recon & Frontline-X). The newest runs are all board flat. I've thrown the older ones. The older ones have less fade than the new ones. My Recons are more overstable than my Frontline-Xs though. So if you want a beefy Mortar get a (Run 1.2) Recon. I like how the Frontline-X doesn't skip as much as Recon. Though I'm pretty sure I'll be bagging a Recon. I just like the extra beefy.

I was in the store and saw a Gateway Supersoft Magic in a nice, bright orange-red color. So I spent my lunch money on it. I took it out to the course today, and it's a good bit like the DX Colt or Stud: very shallow rim. The flight is straight, and I expect it will become more understable as it seasons in.

Woo-Hoo! New plastic day. Also known as why I hate the mailman day.

Much more warped than what the camera shows.

Still sweet plastic and that should flatten out with some hot water.

UGGGGHHHHH! Sorry for any issue. We cannot control the post office unfortunately... even when we used to sticker bags up with PLEASE DO NOT BEND and what not - I think they took it more like a CHALLENGE than a request. Honestly, no issues reported for quite some time, then recently a few issues recorded - it's almost like they got a new mandate/memo to jam items into mailboxes no matter what! :wall:

Let me know if you have any issue in 'unwarping' the disc and we'll see what we can do for you.

Thanks DF,

I would love a reason to keep it in the bag - feels like secks in the hand, and it seems like it should have a home in a flak 3 bag next to a MOAB.

I planned to field test it next my OS putters and mids, try it on more lines, power and angle variations, etc. but maybe I should pick up a 1.2 before I spend time comparing a soon to be impossible to find run. This one seems fairly flat, but a little extra beef would be appreciated.

Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of innova champ / recon plastic, but maybe the 1.2 frontline would work.
The Recon plastic I've felt/own is much more grippy & flexible than regular Innova Champion plastic. I like Champion plastic a lot though. The Frontline-X should work just fine...Sexton bags a Frontline-X Mortar.

kelgart, Nothing to be sorry for and I hope you didn't take offense to that post. I know it is in no way under your control and I wasn't meaning for anything against you or your companies. I know it's fixable, and if I can't get it perfect, the at least I don't have to spend time seasoning it :)
I keep trying to convince my wife that we need either a tiny box big enough for letters or a huge box that way stuff will fit in. As it is, the stuff that doesn't fit in, they just toss on the grass or even the street under the box.

My green-yellow Champion Rancho Rhyno has done so well that I idly thought of getting a backup. I was in the store today and saw this pink goodness. My wallet groaned, but I have my backup and "throw pink" Rhyno now. I took it to the course and it flew awesome; had several parked approach shots.

Picked up a 175g Proton Crave to serve as a compliment to my beloved 149g StarLite Teebird. Need something that doesn't get blown around as easy on windy days.

Had one of these years ago and it was pretty fun. Figured I'd give it another shot for some understable midrange goodness.

Highlighter yellow with yellow/green stamp. Max weight. Should be fun

I bought a TP Pure by accident. Rummaging through the stack of misprints I saw a deco dyed Harp. Threw the sucker hard and flat and it goes cruising towards flip city and I'm like "WTF?" Go and dig it out of the woods and peel off the PIAS sticker and sure enough, it was covering up 'Pure' on the underside. I'm such an idiot sometimes. Sometimes. :|

A pure with a harp decodye? Dibs. Pm me

Bought my first Axom Disc tonight a 170 Plasma Envy can't wait to try it out tomorrow. Also a R-pro Rhyno very slight dome a little stiffer then my old Pro Rhyno. And a black DX Aviar with a lime green grid stamp. Not sure why I bought this haven't thrown Aviars in a very long time but it looks sweet though.

All discmania this time: cd3, pd base plastic, bottom stamped fd's.
