I had a disc marked star orc but it was a speed 12 disc. It had a 2006 tournament stamp. I was wondering what speed 12 disc were out at that time

Destroyer maybe? Maybe not any. Wraith came out in 2006 I believe and that's speed 11
There were quite a few discs in 2006 with 2.2+ cm rims. You can find them easily by using this excel sheet: http://www.pdga.com/files/PDGA_approved_discs_082614.xls and sorting the discs first by rim width, then by approval date.

I'm pretty sure there weren't any speed 12 discs back then. The highest speed back then was up to 11.
Orc's are speed 10. Where was the speed marked? 2006 should be pre-numbers.

Discraft: Rogue, Spectra, Surge, Venom.
Discwing: Quarter K.
Gateway: Blurr.
Innova: Max, Tee-Rex.
Quest...a bunch.
All of these had 2.2 rims or more as of 2006.
And none of them really matter today, except for the Surge, and Rogue...and maybe the Max and Tee-Rex to a degree.
Edit: And yes, the Epic, with that funky rim.
