New Course 2+ years drive by

Pros:
-Course is pretty well designed for the land that it was put on.
-Baskets catch really well.
-Elevation changes are worked into the design well.
-A good change of pace from the other courses in the area.
-Multiple tees so you can play it as an 18 hole course, once from the short tees and once from the longs.
**Update 10-23-10**
-Concrete Teepads have been installed by volunteers from the Diamond State Disc Golf Association. There are 19 total, one long and one short for each hole, and there is a much shorter pad on 9 so players that can't climb the hill don't have to.
-These teepads should also make each hole easier to find when playing for the first time because they are easier to see than the orange rocks that were used previously to mark the tee.

Cons:
-No tee-signs right now, I don't know if they are in the works or not. Right now you have to guess at distances.
-Would take a guide to find all the tee areas and baskets right now because of the lack of signs.
-Holes 8 and 9 play really close to each other, using the same landing zone for tee shots, if this ever becomes a busy course, I could see problems right there.

Other Thoughts:
-The course overall doesn't seem that challenging to me, especially from the short pads, but it is still a fun 9 holes. The most challenging hole is definitely #2 from the long.
An accurate straight throw could leave you with a nice birdie putt on the rest of the holes.
-Woods are on or close to every hole. Brush is thick in places just off the fairways.
-Some of the holes come close to other activities in the park such as basketball courts, but shouldn't interfere at all.
-The two tees on each hole give the course a good change for a 2nd time playing it.
-The short tees almost seem like a pitch and putt course to me, but the longs are much more demanding. If playing 18 holes, get your birdies on the short tees, you will need them for the longs.
-There are a couple of streets that the course crosses, but they didn't seem to be busy at all while I was there. I think my group only had to wait for one or two cars the whole time.

A lot of brush has also been cut back, which actually makes the course easier (which could be a pro or con depending on what you think/how you look at it). Paths to the tees are staying clear, and are easier to walk. Also, #3's basket has been moved away from the fence that it used to be near. The new position is easier to get to, but offers some challenge when putting unlike the other one.
