Nice little 9 hole course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 22, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

Excellent shot variety on a mostly open course and a creek is in play on most shots. There are also some slight elevation changes so this is not a typical nine hole course IMO. Good signs for each hole and they also include directions to the next hole.

Cons:

Course is muddy (especially number 5) and the tee boxes are dirt. The creeks need bridges and a few hidden trails need signs.

Other Thoughts:

I drove out from Carrollton on Saturday to play and was pleasantly surprised. The course info could provide a better description of hole one (its by the pavillion near the parking lot- opposite from the basketball courts). While the course could use some improvements, I think most of the "cons" will be fixed since its a new course. I will definately make the drive again soon but I will still play Towne Lake for a real challenge.
