One of south Florida's best! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 23, 2019 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Excellent mix of tight wooded holes and open bombers
-A few ace runs, par 4's, and a triple mando
-Equal mix of hyser vs. anhyser (or forehand) holes
-Minimal water holes (unlike some courses in Florida where it is overused)
-Great signage, multiple tee pads, and multiple baskets
-Limited interference from park-goers due to the park being so large and the DG course being marked well.
-Maintenance is superb!

Overall: There is a lot to love about this course and it has a little bit of everything! The locals have put a lot of TLC into adding multiple hole layouts/baskets and using all the available space. I would recommend this course next to anything else south Florida has to offer. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Cons:

-No bathrooms on the course (there are some at the park but you would likely have to drive to them)
-Limited elevation change.. but it's south Florida so that's expected (there are a few holes on mounds/hills which is nice)
-Holes 16 and 17 feel pretty dull compared to the rest of the course (they feel like connecter holes to get you back towards the start)
-Lots of annoying sounds from both the RC airplane field and the gun range

Lefty Delight 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 21, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Disc Golf course basics - teepads, signage & baskets - are impeccable.
Professionally poured concrete teepads - Red, White & Blue - on all holes, as applicable.
Course plays fair with a good mix of thick woods, water, semi-open & open holes demanding a variety of shots.
Course is welcoming from Red Pads & challenging from Blue pads, making it interesting for newcomers & professionals alike.
Where available on provided land, good use of elevation, relative to South Florida anyway, on pin placements.

Cons:

No Toilet facilities or Water Fountains provided in Disc Golf course area of the park. This has nothing to do with the course itself, just come prepared.

Other Thoughts:

Subjectively, as a lefty back-hand thrower, this is my favorite course in Broward.
Objectively, for parks under the Broward County umbrella, this is the most well manicured & appealing course in Broward.
