[Discraft] Buzzz guide

^^^
is a pic missing? (or somehow being filtered by my work)

or are you saying that 2010 Buzzz SS has WASP tooling?

It looks like he put one disc over the top of the other. Yeah you are missing a picture.

yea sorry about the confusion it's just both put together.
If i can only somehow melt them into one disc..:)

Let the record show that Mr. America was NOT confused! I was uhhhh.... ummmm.... errr..... simply stating the obvious! Yeah, that's it!

IMO Buzzz stabilities work out like this (assuming every one is max weight, 178g) from most overstable to most understable, new out of the box
Glow
Elite Z
CryZtal
ESP
FLX
Elite X
Pro D.

My favorite disc (at least midrange) is the FLX Buzzz. However, I have tried about three ESP in supercolor and everyone of them I have trouble flipping over easy. It is most likely my form flaw, but why only the ESP? I think the ESP seems the most understable to me. I also use a Elite X as a less stable disc than the FLX for straight shots.

(My avatar is actually a picture of my favorite FLX Buzzz)

this should get an award for most informative thread of the year.

2003 Holiday X Buzzz - 1st run X Buzzz. Very flat, Wasp tooling. Came on either red or green disc with a happy holidays stamp. Other early runs of X Buzzz have wasp tooling, but the Holiday X Buzzz were the true first runs in elite X plastic.

Here's the money shot.

My 163g FLX Buzzz has a super flat top and my 171g Z Buzzz SS is very domey. Is that normal??

Maybe I'm still just to inconsistent but when I do out to do field practice I'm not seeing a huge difference in these discs. If I'm understanding this correctly the FLX plastic would make it more understable (less fade) and more like the Z SS. What will the weight difference do to stability?

I want to focus on learning how to throw different lines with just one of them and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to toss out of my bag. Suggestions

are most glow buzzz flat? I have 3 of them and they are flatter than flat (comparatively speaking to my other z buzzzes)

if that's the case, then i'll be stocking up on some glows

KniceZ- Weight will make a difference in stablity. For the most part the heavier the dis the more overstable it will be.

From what I've read, glow z buzzzes are the closest you are going to get to the first run buzzz- flat and beefy.

2nd First run Pearly Blue Buzzz (Wasp tooled)

I'll show you mine if you show me yours:

So all my buzz's are max weight 177-179. i find the flex to be the most stable. i also throw a cryztal and a z. i recently picked up some cryztal flx. i am curious as to how they compare to others. they look so nice i don't want to throw em yet. they are a bit floppier than the straight flx.

Cryztal FLX is suppose to be compared to FLX ESP which was slightly more understable than the ones you currently throw. Surprising the FLX is most stable for you as the Z should be I would think and atleast mine always were but never had the Cryztal FLX, would think they are pretty durable though!

Red's and orange all First Run stamped wasp rimmed
