The Ask MJ & Comet Love Thread

MJ,

I have two words you should pass on to Discraft.

Titanium Comet.

They've been made recently as fundraisers for the Ledgestone Open, I believe. There are a few up on Ebay right now. It would be nice to see them as a production run.

They are nice, Infinite discs recently had them on clearance and I got the last one! I like it, wish they came at as a production run though. The one I got is green, afraid to use it and lose it!

Yeah, Sun King and Gotta Go Throw have them in stock. I was hoping for a production run so they would be a bit easier to get. :)

Couldn't think of a better plastic for them.

Its been 15 plus years since I threw the comet. Recently, picked up two z glo comets. Good time to have some glow.

Speaking of Titanium, what is your preferred Discraft plastic for your favorite molds?
All depends on the mold. Most of my driver's are z or big z. Mids can be anything from x, z, big z, Ti. My throwing putters are esp, Ti, and d

They are exclusive to me😀. The last several years I have been doing MJ Sig comets as fundraisers for travel. Only 300 have been made so far

Cool. I'll be trying to keep any eye out when you start your fundraising.

I have an ESP Comet that was my main goto disc, but it has become super flippy for me. A Big Z is working nicely for now, and I just picked up a fresh Z.

I just started with a Glo Z Meteor as more of a S disc for me as well.

I usually start putting them out there in may or so

MJ, I just watched CCDG's coverage of Ledgestone that they just released this week. You were throwing a LE Ledgestone TI Banger. I was curious how you feel it flies compared to other plastics? I used to use an X Soft Banger GT for understable putter drives and it was a beautiful turnover disc. I'd be interested in a premium plastic BGT.

Your shots seemed straight as an arrow, with a touch more fade. I know it has a ton to do with that uber-smooth form, but would like your thoughts on it's flight compared to X/Pro-D/FLX.
