Upper Park Designs Backpack Bags

Has any though ever been given to a Rebel style bag with Shift style side pockets? One of my favorite features of my Shift is the ability to reach back and have access to 8 discs while still wearing it. I would love the extra storage of the Rebel and still having the ability to stick 2 or 4 discs on the outside for access while walking. Then again, I may be the odd duck here.

We've definitely tossed around the idea and even sketched a couple of the concepts. It's doable but it's tough because the gap between the Shift and the Rebel is not huge and a bag in between would take sales from one or the other. With the couple new bags we are working on we're trying to open up our offerings to the more entry level player. With the handful of companies now offering bottom of the line products, that's our big focus right now.

Side note, I just created a company Snapchat. Because.. why not. I'll showcase some of our upcoming stuff and even ask for feedback on products and concepts. Add me @upperparkdg

Jon,

Do you have a picture of how you carabiner/strap your stool to your shift? I've been trying to visualize it and it's just not coming to me lol.

I carry my stool in my off hand. Great for fending off spider-webs, swarms of mosquito's and man-eating thorns. But if I could find a good way to strap it to the Shift, that would be great too!

Note to self: reinforce D-ring and handle stitching.

They are very useful d rings. The Golden Retriever's full weight isn't on the ring though. I have one end of the string clipped to it with the retriever tucked down in an inside mesh pocket. Keeps me from loosing the retriever.

Extremely interested in the idea of UP entry level bags. Timetable?

I'd love a Focus with a decent sized storage pouch. Something to cram in my keys, wallet, phone, snack etc etc . I can do it now, but I have to use every small pocket on it and I don't like having my phone be in the waist pockets since they can easily get stepped on while laying on the ground. Lastly, bump up the storage capacity to 12 discs and you'd have the perfect entry level UP bag.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller!?

Fossa makes one
I own the small Fossa bag. Great entry/small bag/sling. My only complaint is that it's designed to be worn only on one side of your body(right side).

Back on point, did somebody say fanny pack disc golf bag?? I'M IN! I had to retire my old disc fanny pack last month. It held 5-7 discs, 2 drinks, keys, phone wallet.

UPD fanny pack here we come!!

You guys are hilarious. lol

Funny thing is, I've been wanting to make, or at least design, a fanny pack bag since our second year in business. My partners both disagreed so I dropped it. Now that it's only me, maybe it's time to revisit the idea?

Secret note. We're working with Vibram on something that may or may not be sling related.. but with how busy Steve Dodge is these days it could take a year to complete.
