they've also ran CFDs and CMD2's in this plastic, i'm a fan. the CFDs i've seen have all been crazy stiff, like the new FB stiff; which kind of makes me speculate if some of the clearer new run FBs might also be in this plastic.

[Innova] New Innova Champion Plastic...good or bad????

The pearly(ish) Totem TBs and C-FD's and rock hard FBs don't have quite the same feel as the crystal clear Beasts and RC3's I've held. The plastic is harder and a little less grippy. Probably splitting hairs tho. Can't wait for a new run of Champ Sidewinders! :thmbup:

I really am digging the new glassy plastic. I feel comfortable throwing pro/dx around, so durability is generally the least of my worries. My teebirds are pretty beefy in it, and I just wish they'd start pouring Eagles in the stuff...

The Totem TeeBirds came from the newest run (at the time) of TeeBirds. They are one and the same.
Ah, okay. My buddy bought four Totems and loves them. Great flight and great plastic.

I have a stack of new C-Line FDs, and a stack of ROC3s. The plastic is NOT the same... Both are pretty good, but the ROC3 plastic is softer, tackier, and more glassy. The C-FD plastic is pearlier, MUCH stiffer, and has decent grip but isn't as tacky. I haven't personally held a Totem Teebird yet so this is just speculation, but for all those that said they are stiff and flat I'm guessing that blend is closer to the C-FD plastic. When you have one of each in hand you can tell that the blends are not the same. I've seen the new Beasts too, they look and feel identical to the Roc3s and Terns, nothing like the C-FDs.
I am looking forward to seeing more "new" TeeBirds in stores so we can see what blend Innova will use going forward. Maybe someone with Innova can address this, but there has got to be some difference in blend between the FD/Totem blend and the Roc3/Beast/Tern blend.

Not sure if I have the arm for a speed 12 disc, but people seem to like it.
