So who owns or is going to own this property/courses? Been wanting to take another trip up there, but I'm extremely reluctant given the stories that seem to change monthly.
Visited HH for the first time yesterday and today.
What a fantastic place. I could tell that Mountain Man is putting a ton of time and effort in, and that was very much appreciated. Leaves are starting to change color and fall. I would guess peak color might be this weekend or next there. I had the place largely to myself for most of the time that I was there, which was magical.
I played all five courses once, then a second round on Blueberry. The back 9 (technically holes 8-16) of Highbridge Gold is now open, with one basket per hole (the front 9 has two baskets per hole). Hole 8 is an absolute monster at 1440 feet long. I think my arm fell off just looking at it.
Lots of smaller redesigns appear to have taken place since the maps posted here/at the check in station on site were created. No idea exactly when all this happened, but I imagine some of this must be old news from a year or two ago. It was hard to tell exactly which holes got redesigned.
- Blueberry: some of the holes in the middle. Maybe #8-11?
- Bear: The whole middle of the course got redesigned. Holes 3-12 I think?
- It felt like some pin locations got tweaked elsewhere too. Couldn't really tell for sure.
I'll try my best to update course info pages, etc. But it's probably gonna be a week or more before I get to that, and honestly it's a formidable task. I don't know if all the most current information on distances, etc. is even available anywhere. Obviously I'll write reviews eventually too.
But the short version is that all five courses have 18 playable holes. Signage ranges from passable to poor, but I want to emphasize that the courses were all in good condition! My legs and throwing arm, not so much.
Yep, ready for action. One maybe two cabins available this year for rental. Check with Mountain Man on availability. We still have DG on the Hill this year, right?
This'll be my year finally getting up that way. Hopefully. Was supposed to be last September but there was a schedule conflict I had overlooked.
Hopefully.

The Playground is our newest course at the Highbridge Hills Disc Golf Megaplex. Modeled after the Innova Ace Place design concept, this is an 18 hole course, with every tee shot being an ace run.
At 2200 ish ft, it's the perfect course for beginners and veterans of the game. It's also a FREE for the public to play course, a concept initiated by Chuck Kennedy many years ago, when he first built Chestnut Grove.
The Playground is also a great warm up course. You can play a 2 hole loop, or a 6 hole loop, right from our front yard, while waiting for your friends to arrive.
Our plan is to run flex start 50/50 Ace Races on the weekends, starting some time this summer. All baskets and tees are lighted for glow rounds. Rubber tee pads are on site and in the process of being installed.
Hope to see everyone enjoying the hill this year. Thanks. Tom

Make sure to hit one of the nearby artesian wells for your drinking water. Water never tasted so great...ALL RIGHT!! I am heading for my first trip to Highbridge. Any insight, hints, guidance from you savvy vets of this complex?
