After a "situation" I had at the KCWO earlier this year regarding my choice of competition apparel, I took the necessary steps to secure a Dress Code change with the P.D.G.A.

Females may now compete in a tennis dress without repercussions.

Some of you may see this as silly, but I see it differently.

I applaud anyone that uses the appropriate channels to explore change. I detest those that just bitch endlessly, and expect change to magically happen. Lots of people doing the latter.

nice job.

what was silly is that there was an issue with it in the first place...petty, jealousy, or both?

Lots of FB chatter about this one, and how it's detrimental to the sport. I would assume those people don't look quite as nice in a tennis skirt as others. Just sayin'...

On a different note, I think a beautiful woman in a tennis skirt is worth 20 McBeth's (no offense to the man...dude can chuck) in terms of marketing. Keep on keepin' on Holly.

I never quite figured that out myself. After over analyzing the situation, I decided making a change would be the best method of combat.

I just hit my "like" button about 20 times!

posting in a Holly thread :D
come n take it zenbot

The dress dress code change is positive, way to go.

Guys - why ya gotta make it about ugly women. Some of those ladies are actually fine as **** and maybe their jealousy was that they followed the rules and had to look like volleyball coaches.

Yeah, but why can't I wear a lovely tennis dress? Double standards, man. :|

Hell, I should be banned from wearing shorts. Ain't nobody want to see that many scars and hair. Come to think about it, I don't keep it in the fairway enough to where I'd feel safe wearing shorts, a kilt, or a dress.

Damn those pesky people who follow and enforce rules because they are rules!

(No knock meant on Holly. I know her rule "violation" was innocent and not blatant. She took the correct route in getting the rule reviewed and ammended)

This.

Now we can start a thread on what constitutes "well-tailored".
