[MVP] MVP Tesla

Bet that flat top will make it an awesome forehand disc. Its funny I just lost a tern that was filling my semi overstable distance slot, while it was breaking in. Tesla a little slower but more OS than that might just fit the bill nicely. Can't wait..... Who do I have to kill(or ####) to become a tester? lol

if your only throwing it 260, i will have to wait for a mikec video. i throw my craves 350' and max out with speed 12 discs at about 450'. Im glad its beefy though, cant wait to start breaking one in!

Sounds lke 150 class will be popular

Yea, I really wanted to "bomb" it like the Inertia, but the discs are too different. 260 with the Inertia is cake, but that was all I got out of the Tesla. It wanted to fade much quicker, robbing me of any length. A bigger arm who can break the threshold (which may be around 350) will probably see a different flight.

Edit: Yea, and I threw a 172. A lightweight may be much different...but time will tell.

from mvp description:
subtle turn and reliable fade, while a pronounced glide
mvp's descriptions are almost always right on for me :(

theories:
tester discs molded up wrong
bigsky was accidentally sent a motion
bigsky is borderline female

Its sounds more like a faster version of my eclipse volt. that thing is a beast it wont turn for #### unless I throw it into a head wind. Or force it over.

I really wish I hadn't lost my E Volt. It flew somewhat like my Shock, so I think that's a fair comparison. Too bad I don't have it to test against. The Tesla has a higher power requirement than either the Shock, or Volt though.

I just set my resistor and switch on the table its looks almost identical to the pic above except the inertia in the pic looks slightly domier than mine. Was that also your test inertia? sorry cant post pics my phone is from the Paleozoic era.

I felt like MVP's description was accurate. I had a real easy time putting the video together...even in the wind. I found the Tesla very easy to throw!

that looks great. gap between this and inertia seems to be quite big. ends of the line might be quite extreme.

Thanks. Were some of the lines that flipped up and held the line a while into headwind or just the way it goes?

YEAAAHHH.

I guess that leaves room for the Axiom Crave-like version that's pre-seasoned. I hope. Does look a bit beefy for the average arms for everyday shots.

At 2:20 I thought Mike's shot was going in the drink...I don't know how deep that water is but I was loudly screaming "Nooooo!" in my barracks room.

Those mid to high 160s look like the heat. I can get behind those. Maybe it was an awkward throw (yeah right) but the lightest one looked a little turny and the max weights looked just a bit beefier than those 160s. Not that I can throw quite as far as Mike, but I'm no slouch, so I think this will indeed fit betwixt my Giants and Terns, even if it is two speeds lower. Looks like it will be very usable for me, as I only throw the beefiest of Giants.

Very eager to throw mine...come on May 6th!

Maybe they're going to fill the gap between Inertia and Tesla with Axiom DDs?

Really awesome throws again Mike.. parking a long hole two times in a row is very impressive. You're my favorite disc golfer!

Mike's video comparison of the Tesla and Inertia are about on par with what I found. There's probably more of a gap than I think most of us expected.

If you're more of a noodle (regular) thrower, I would suggest picking this one up in the 160's or lighter if you want it to fly straighter.
