[Drivers] Buzz like driver

Stag and FD are the most "stable mid" flight I've gotten out of a fairway driver. Stags are currently in my bag because I like the feel better, but I've bagged FD's before and they also fit the description.

doesnt stag have decent turn

I would say a Stalker (speed 7). Max weight Champion Valkyries (Speed 9) are also similar in stability to a stable Buzz.

Zombees (Speed 6) are great too.

I could not agree more, except the Zombie as I have not used a Zombie ever. Star flatter top Valkyrie in most wights will be the same as a Buzz in most other weights comparably to the ESP Buzz.

Beat up a Teebird, for sure. I've thrown nothing like it. Takes a while to get to that lazer-straight point and shoot stage, though.
Idk what I'd do without my seasoned 11x bird.

DX Teebird! Right out of the box it has that seasoned goodness people keep talking about.

Maybe a Saint if you want something a little faster.

I agree with Casey's Leo3 or something like the FD. Personally a Luster Champ Leo3 does exactly what I like in a premium plastic Buzzz. It has a little bit of high speed turn but with a lot of straight, before some definite end fade. You'll definitely need a good amount of arm speed or OAT to make it act flippy, though it can also act downright beefy if you're not throwing over 300'.

Is there any discs that compare to a buzz but in driver form? I'm looking for something that is stable/understable but something that holds its line like a buzz does

I'll be the difficult one and say no disc.

Like there's truly no longer Zone, shorter Comet, longer Teebird, shorter Destroyer, etc. You'll need to find something similar and adjust your throw accordingly.

How far do you throw your distance drivers? What distance were you hoping to have this faster Buzzz go relevant to your max distance? How far do you throw a normal Buzzz?

A Hannah Leatherman Glow Champ Leo3 would probably be in your wheelhouse, as well.

JLS is basically a seasoned teebird off the shelf. I love throwing them on forehand anhyzers, especially the older low dome Q's.

Fd for sure. Straight, super glidey, feels good in the hand, locks onto the line. Goes surprisingly far for a fairway too

I've only thrown one JLS but it immediately made me think of my beat in Star Teebird, and I was impressed with it.

Should be a more popular disc.

Bit more turn (not much) but I'd agree. They love to be hyzerflipped, or the old ones did at least. Haven't thrown a current run...

I've thrown 40+ and they're an underappreciated mold for sure. The "speed" of them is problematic and I feel like people neglect them because it sits between a Roc and Teebird and I HAVE to have a Roc and Teebird. How dare anyone throw a tweener...you aren't allowed to have a unique bag build and must throw cookie cutter 3 putters 3 mids 3 fairways 3 control 3 distance:wall:

huh? Innova marks it (the JLS) as a speed 9....

Which is weird, isn't it a teebird top and whippet bottom?

BTW, I disagree.. the JLS seems to be less high speed stable than a beat in tee bird...

Yeah I did find that the one JLS sample did have a bit more turn than a beat in Teebird. But I have also thrown real beat 11x that have even more turn...so it all depends. Still, for a fresh disc in premium plastic it was extremely neutral but trustworthy feeling.

I didn't realize until after throwing it that it was a speed 6 instead of 7. Does it matter at all for distance potential? Like a Leo is also a 6 but I find they carry the same range as any of my speed 7's that are also neutral like that. Doesn't affect me at all, it flies like a fairway driver not a fast mid.

Nope. I can crush a QJ as far as most molds I've tried over the years. Now I'm sad I sold all of them and want one again:doh:

agreed its a great mold amazing for woods frolf

Woods frolf. Wolf. Innova is brilliant.
