I understand that some of you have snow and real crappy weather already but it's wet and cold today, that deep in your bones wet and cold, I have had enough. I understand that 45 degrees and raining is not cold by Buffalo, St Paul, Chicago or Minot standards but it sucks for North Carolina. Since that's where I am, that's the standard I am using. Where's 100 degree day and a hurricane when I need one. Little bit of global warming would feel real nice about now...

Ok, ready for the guys up north to pile on and tell me they walked to school up hill both ways in 10 feet of snow with only 3 hours of day light as a child in the first grade......

It was freaking 16 in OKC this morning. It's way too early for this shixt.

St. Louis
Sunday: 70° and sunny. Played DG, then changed into shorts and grilled on the deck
Monday: 30° and wintery mix - work let out early and some took over 2 hours to get home
Today: 11° icy roads - F this...

Lol.....25 degrees and 10 in fresh heavy snow on the ground here in Detroit....oh yeah, wind chill around 14. Good news is the sun is out.

It was 4 degrees on my way to work this morning. We normally get first snowfall towards the end of November and it's usually less than a couple inches. We had 6 inches on Halloween and 8 more inches since then.

We had flurries in Northern Virginia for like 4 and a half minutes this afternoon. High tomorrow 39 d F, blurgh bah humbug.

It looks like we getting off easy this go around.

Sorry, I can't help but laugh at someone calling 13 degrees above freezing a "deep in your bones cold". That's funny.

But I totes agree. Winter is here way too friggin early.

Fall in Madison this year was legitimately only like 3 weeks long. It was really nice for those 3 weeks, but man.... It sucks to already be sick of winter when there's technically 6 weeks of fall left.

I think people adjust to the cold better than the first or 2nd cold. Just pick the best times and the best courses for less wind and sunny.

Remember during the USDGC and y'all were complaining about temps in the 90s? It was freezing here. It's practically been winter for two months for some of us. Get off my lawn.

already have glaring ice over most teepads in my area of mn

think this is the year i buy a set of snowshoes and try alternatives to outdoor winter activities

A ten minute drive turned into 35 tonight. Drove to pick up my daughter from piano lessons the normal/short/fast route. Snow was blowing, that's it. Then, after a quick trip to the market, about 30 minutes after I went to get her, the same road over Knobley Mountain (the namesake for KMDGC) was impassable due to the road freezing. Traffic was backed way up, apparently due to a wreck.

So we turned around and went the long way around, with dry or just wet roads the whole way. When we made it to the other side of Knobley Mt., the easy road was blocked off to traffic by the VFD from that direction. So, basically, just that road was a mess.

Anyway.... I'm ready for Spring! Trust me, you'll hear no complaining from me if it's in the 80s or 90s.

That's "Nobody open a door" weather to me.

However you measure it, wherever you are, it's January outside right now. Not just any January, but colder-than-normal January. Under the circumstances, I should at least be allowed to postdate my checks "2020".

I just played Panther Creek State Park yesterday. It just may be the best time of year to throw it and the rest of the south right now. #goldilocksweather

I like the change. The course is mine and I love all 4 seasons.

My thoughts exactly. I love seasonal changes. Frankly, the only season that really annoys me is summer (sine anything I can do in 100* weather is something I can also do in 70* weather but much more comfortably). Winter is great for disc golf because it scares off 90% of frolfers. Also, Christmas/sledding/snowball fights/snow angels/etc are AWESOME for those of us with young kids. So for my current stage of life, winter =

Ok,

I like seasonal change too and now I want it to change back...........................

Fun fact: Postdating your checks in the US only changes when your check will become expired. You could write me a check postdated 12/31/9 gazillion and I could cash it tomorrow.

And yea, winter sucks where I live. There's nothing like stepping into your car only to realize you can't see out of any of the windows/windshield due to snowfall.
