What are the chances DGN shows any Natalie shots at all? 1st card seldom if ever gets any footage.

If she makes it on the lead card, you'll see her in a later round. Based on past performance, the chances of that happening are not bad.

Not necessarily...DGPT was already petty enough to renege on Nova's(right?) win to qualify her for one of their events and awarded the spot to 2nd place.
They aren't required by law to show anything they don't want to - at their event, yes - on their network, nope.

I won't speculate that they actually would do that, since it would be the most petty thing I can think of in this situation. Obviously they could; just cut her out of the coverage, don't mention the situation all weekend and pretend she doesn't exist. That would just be so weird to do, though.

At any rate, if she is in contention we will find out. She hasn't been on tour so hasn't been able to throw with the top female players, and there has to be just enormous pressure on her. Also it appears that a big portion of the FPO crowd has no problem stating that they don't want her there, so her interactions with her competitors will be strained. She will have a lot to block out to throw well this weekend.

She's not eligible to play in that event. She knew that before she entered the qualifier. There was no renegging involved.

I would expect business as usual. They will cover it as always. What would be a surprise is if they discussed the situation at all--which they won't.

If Natalie is in contention, they will just cover her like always. I cannot fathom how they would avoid covering her play in that case.

Likely to be their most watched FPO broadcast of the year if Natalie can work her way on there.

Was the trophy conditional as well? Payouts have a caveat? I don't think eligibility or interest in playing the event come into play at all.

Does the TRO only apply to CA tournaments?

Here is the pertinent language from the order:

"For the foregoing reasons, the Court hereby GRANTS Plaintiff's Motion for a Temporary
Restraining Order. (ECF No. 7.) Defendants are hereby ENJOINED from enforcing, using,
implementing, or otherwise relying on section C.3 of the Policy on Eligibility for Gender-Based
Divisions for any purpose, including but not limited to preventing Plaintiff from participating in
the 2023, FPO division of the OTB Open in Stockton, California."

While it would seem that the order is all-encompassing, because the order is based on an interpretation of California law and only affects the parties who are defendants in this suit, it is unlikley to be held to be applicable to events in other states as that would be tantamount to ruling that California law governs other states. BTW, this ruling has already been appealed to the US Ninth Circuit.
