On many different occasions, I did ask. That's what was kinda wierd. I always also make it a point to ask if a solo person or two wants to join in. I think I may have just gotten the "reputation" of playing solo, as I always used to because I didn't know anyone. Then, it just morphed into this. Strange.
Thanks for the input.
Then just let them go. ...or as I like to say: Eff'm! Dude, I live in an area, that just got 3 more players, making a grand total of 4 of us. The problem is that they still live 40+ miles away from me. The other downside is none of the courses are worth a 40mile drive. So believe me, I completely understand.

I understand about the improving, worse comes to worse, I've got 2 words for you ROAD TRIP!!!
I've taken two road trips, from South Carolina to Iowa. I met up with: DSCJNKY, CWalbino, SteveQC, and Red Army. That's just the DGCR'rs. I met up with a couple of others not on here. (Yes, I tried to recruit) I also played with Prerube here two days before I left. There are other players out there, another thing you can do, is to promote your home course. There are DG'rs travelling out there, when you see them, tell "Hey, if you are going through "X", stop off for a round" or even find out if someone is going to be near you, and take a drive and hook up.
Also, Check out the "Members Near Me" Section. That should give you an Idea. Also, Check out the course websites. If there is a Contact Email, hit them up. I've met a couple of Non-DGCR'rs, just from emailing them. So, don't isolate yourself to your "local jurisdiction". Think outside of your town. ...and as far as the locals go. Eff'm!
