Eh, Z avengers are more overstable and X avengers are less stable. The FLX/ESP avenger glide for poop so they don't count. The PD really is a longer Teebird, it's freaky.

Whatever is the "newest & greatest" will get a trial spot in my bag if I can find it in 150-class, bumping out what is now the "second-newest & second-greatest". I test discs for Vibram, so there is often a Vibram proto (or two or three) in my bag, and that relationship resulted a year or two ago in the substitution of my formerly beloved 3x JK Aviars with Vibram VPs.

Other than those things, my setup hasn't changed for a few years. I guess the removal of Sidewinder in favor of Monarch was the last revision.

My current goals all revolve around my throw improving, so whether or not I'm using the 100% optimal discs to reduce my score doesn't matter to me. So yeah, I'm really content with the bag I have. It covers most of the shapes of shots I need, even if there are some small holes (i.e. really long turnover driver) and it forces me to work to get shots rather than discs just doing them for me. I also get great feedback on how well I threw.

I'm pretty content with my bag. I've got a big one and smaller one set up that I feel like I could take to most any course. My only complaint is getting used to the size of my new tourney bag...and while 1 or 2 discs my move in and out of there, I think I've, at leat got all of my shots covered and have adequate coverage should I lose anything.

I am fairly content, but anything is up for being replaced if I find something I like better. The VP, the core, and the surge recently worked their way into my bag.

I think that I've got most of my bases covered. Still looking for that perfect long turnover disc.

Stingray, Archangle, or Monarch maybe??
Got a Stingray. In Star it still comes back.

I've only tried my wife's DX 150 Archangel. I should try a heavier one.

My Monarch comes back also. I have nose angle issues when driving.

Heres whats in my bag at this exact moment:

Drivers,

discraft z stalker
discraft z crush
discraft esp surge
innova star beast
innova star roadrunner
innova star sidewinder
innova star teerex
innova champion monarch
innova pro katana

Mids,

discraft z buzzz
innova dx XD
innova dx classic Roc
innova dx Aero

Putters,

innova dx classic Aviar
innova dx putt and aproach (x2, 1new,1 beat in)

The ones I have issues with are the katana because its a bit unpredictable but when it works I love it. The classic Roc seems to come out of my hand squirrely quite a bit too. Im still trying to get my buzzz to do exactly what I want it to do too, once in a while it flips or does something wierd.

Roadrunner, Monarch, and Sidewinder seems like overlap ;)

They definitely overlap, I like to keep my bag full though so I have some overlap. I like understable discs, everybody needs 2-3 in their bag.

Ive got two, but their both Gold line visions. I love tossing aroudn those Teebirds tho, only drivers i use are the Teebirds and the Visions.

If you have nose angle issues, the Vision wont work all that well for you. I recommend a Pro Leopard or get a Defender.

The Archangel and Monarch will come back a bit if you release it flat...but when I give those discs a little bit of anny, they go right and stay right...
I found a CFR Archangel on ebay, you may want to check out one of those.

Main Bag:

Putters:
Star Aviar P+A
DX Aviar P+A
Star Mako (longer putts, short approaches, anny approaches)

Mids:
ESP meteor (very understable mid)
Cryztal Buzzz (slightly understable mid, turnovers, hyzer flips, hzyers, approaches)
ESP wasp (straight/hyzer shots)
FLX Drone (overstable mid, windy drives/approaches)

Drivers:
Flx Avenger SS (turnover driver, hyzer flips)
Star Leopard (fairway driver, long approaches)
Star TL (long straight driver)
ESP Pred. (overstable driver/ tommy disc)
Z Stalker (shorter TL, shorter tommys to land flat and slide)

I have many other discs (70+ total) that are constantly being tested, or in and out of bag, wolf, Classic Roc, Surge SS, Surge, Katana/Nuke (don't have the arm yet), soft challenger, esp focus (could get a look at as putter), Impact, long straight fairway driver, but not good in wind, skeeter, cro, DX eagle, etc. etc.

Thoughts on bag, or possible improvements?

Putters are fine if you put that Mako with your other mids where it belongs and then pick no more than 3 with those mids. I would probably only use one; in different wear if you have to, but that is just me.

To me, the TL, Leopard and Avenger SS are sort of overlapping. The Avenger is longer but I think you would be suprised how far a Leopard can go and how straight it can go with a little hyzer put on it. Comes down to taste, I know.

I am not a Stalker fan because, as you describe, its a shorter TL. As it is, there is a small gap my mids already walk between my putter distance and fairway distance when I look at controlling, I just havent seen a need for an in between mid and fairway disc.

Pred is money but I dont like to OH mine as I count on it being overstable, it does not need any extra beatings.

All personal preference really.
