Simple yinyang on a soft Ion that was purchased from Justin. 1 small bleed, but it's going directly in the bag (and hopefully the chains!)

Mine was done as a commission and had some uber detail so it wasn't just the yin yang. But we all need to be reminded of the balance in life from time to time

yeah, mine was Crane vs. Cobra on a stylized yin yang for a retailer. Just weird to get 3 of them on here in a 2 day span.

Lots of yin yangs in the past few days. Guess I wasn't the only one stretching for ideas

I just thought that a simple design would dress up a plain white Ion. Simple designs are about all I can handle :(

On the upside, it looks great in the air :)

Here is my first foray in the airbrush world.

Try something out of your comfort zone and you may surprise yourself.

That's the problem, I don't have a comfort zone

Actually, I am forging ahead w/ multi color dyes, just none that I thought merited being posted, and, I am also working on some discs using the shaving cream marbling method. Once again, nothing to post as I am not real happy w/ the results yet.

Thanks for the encouraging words!

A couple easy dyes I did with some problems. The EchoStar Destroyer took the dye really splotchy

And the Raised letters and center nipple on the bottom of the Halo caused some red bleeds, so I remasked it and dyed the black part. The outer edge of the ring didn't really take the dye and I don't know why not.

Always indecisive about whether or not to wipe the stamp off. Should I, or leave it on?

Remove the stamp. We dye to differentiate our discs from the boring stamps the companies put on there. Removing the stamp brings your attention to the dye you did. Also it means people your playing with won't know what disc you threw which can be a bonus in tourney play

I wiped everything but the JL star. I'm also going to redye it a little darker. It's for a retail pro shop, otherwise I would have done a lot more work on it. I picked up more black and some yellow, so hopefully I'll get to do some good multicolors soon.

grandpa zombie my friend drew on a glo gazelle, I got take a pic of it glowing, but it looks sweet when it does!

THAT is awesome...I've been considering buying an airbrush so I could do things like that. Thought about spray paint too but not entirely sure how that would turn out.

You can't use paint and expect to ever throw the disc in a PDGA event. Paints add to the surface of the disc thus making them illegal.

Not searching. Lazy. Would Sharpie art be considered illegal? It's on the surface, but players are required to mark discs for identification during tourneys, right?

I think if you are going to leave the stamp, your design needs to be lined up the same way as the stamp or use the stamp in some way. Otherwise, just wipe it.

CTP Disc

What do you guys think about this disc as a CTP Disc...did it for an upcoming tourney. It is a Discmania TD. Let me know what you think!
