Lost Disc Mega Thread: Post your lost disc questions and stories here.

engraved info

So it rained pretty good for a couple days and the creek at my local was up and while walking by between holes saw a disc caught on snag. Plucked it out and it's got two names and #'s on it. One is in sharpie on the underside, the other is on the inside of the rim, but not in sharpie, this dude straight engraved his name and # into the inside of the rim. I'm thinking I'll call engraver first since I'm thinking this is probably first owner. Anybody else ever find an engraved disc?

Anybody else ever find an engraved disc?

i got a disc from justsayin that was engraved by the previous owner..........also i have found discs with numbers scratched out and new names and numbers on them ...i have been able to read the scribbled out # and call them back ....had a few that were not returned to them the next guy just found it and scribbled out the name and kept it.....feels good to get it back to the right owner.....

Oops! Straight up walked away from my beat ESP Nuke. This was my goto distance driver. Quite flippy... I had a really pretty hyzer-flip with this thing. 95% of my greatest drives went with it. I think I'll crawl into a ball and cry.
Name and number didn't work also :wall:
Time to step up to this new Halo.

X nukes are out now.

Lost my Innova Champion Orc this fall at Jericho Lake in Oswego Illinois. That was my very first disc =( Hopefully im gonna find it when the ice gives away. Gonna try and find alot of discs in the stream and return them to their owners... maybe itll make them feel better =)

Let me preface this by saying im an idiot.

I have two of the newer organic wizards I've been using for around 5-6 moths now. The main putting wizard was beat to perfection and the other was a perfect stable compliment with an ace to boot.
After playing a few rounds the other day I practiced putting till well after dark and threw a few drives. I picked up my drives and left my two seasoned putters in the basket. Both have name and number but no one calls as they're either senior citizens or noobs. Time to keep seasoning some new wizards...

In a tourney once: During the last minute warm up; I lost a disc in a tree just before the horn to stop practicing went off (couldn't see it). Played the entire tourney round of 18+ holes. This hole ended up being the last hole. As we finished that very disc blew out of the tree top and nearly hit me falling out. lol :)

Lost my innova champion sidewinder at Jericho lake...2nd disc i lost there so far but hopefully gonna go dive for it when the ice lets up

Lost my Valkyrie DX

Today I lost my Valkyrie DX at the UNC course. I think it was the 2nd or 3rd hole. There is a pond, and part of it had ice on it. It landed on the ice in the middle, but didn't want to walk out on it. There were others out there too that I shaw. It was in the 60s today. I think there might be a lot lost there. I don't know if you can swim to get your lost one.

Even if you couldnt swim you could try and take a raft out there. It just depends on how deep it is. Or you can go out there and saw u accidently fell in while u were on the raft...? :hfive:

Lost my champion Beast last night, I threw it on the last hole and just forgot to pick it up, went back this morning and it was gone. It was my first and only disc i had an ace with :(

I guess that doesn't surprise me as much as you've played  This happened to me on #3 at grignon on a windy day, wasn't my disc but one fell out of the tree and there was no one around.

I lost a limited edition Dragon Quantum JLS at Addison Oaks last Spring. I never marked it so, all I can hope is that it sank to the bottom of the swamp it went in.

Also lost my Soft VooDoo at Willow during the post-monsoon swamp-foot round in the late Spring/early Summer season.

Two bummer losses this past season here in good ol' Michigan.

i lost a tie dye champ leopard at ozark mountain in vichy, mo. it was the first time i'd ever thrown the disc. for anyone who's ever played that course, you know how unlikely it is that i will ever find it. it's basically in the wilderness and it's on private property so it's not played much. i'd pay someone cash if they found it, but i know i'll never have to make good on that claim!

My prized Blue 172 Core went swimming in Harris Lake at #9 at Buckhorn today. One brutal tree bounce and there she went. I am very sad.

I was at "Hobson Grove" in bowling green, ky yesterday and found two discs that are covered in ink, but no numbers to call. Anyone on here lose a disc or two? PM me and perhaps I can get these sloppy discs out of my hands.
